The original trailer I picked up had a tire defect, returned immediately and got a different one. The owner took care of everything and was very informative on how to use for my moving needs!

EARL GUhaul customer service and mobile dispatch app was appallingly bad. Reservations mean reservations and your customers should not have to scramble at the last minute to find a truck when the one that was reserved wasn't returned. I hope I never am forced to use your services again. So bad an experience online and with all but one CSR. Also the people at Robinson Gunworks were super helpful. Checked us in personally when they saw us struggling with your stupid app. I talked with 6 CSRs on Friday. Knowing I was doing mobile dispatch, you would think at least 1 person would mention. The ridiculous need to alert people that you would need and would be calling 2 references. Just a horrible experience!!!

ESSIE FExperience with the store was good, experience with U-haul was terrible. First issue was drastically different rate due on pickup than the amount quoted on the reservation. I rented 2 trucks and when picking up needed to pay mileage in advance at mid $50's per truck, over $100 more than quoted. Second problem was the 26' truck overcharged nearly $75 extra on my wife's card than the receipt stated, so we're over $175 more than quoted at pickup, the company wouldn't refund it because their receipt reflected what they said they charged. Third problem was the communication with U-haul, we just had a category 4 hurricane tear through the area we were using the trucks causing road blockages, I emailed U-haul immediately after realizing they wouldn't be returned on time and got no response. The company we rented from was closed as they were also in the hurricane path, Without being able to contact the company to find out if roads were clear I didn't want to add more mileage and have to turn around and drive back. I then drive both trucks to a local location that I knew I could get to in the interest of not having them another day to get an invoice the next day that I'm being charged nearly $500 because the trucks weren't returned to the original location and for the very little gas I used. Gas was unavailable when they were returned due to the storm. I'm not willing to pay these additional charges and they need to be removed immediately because they've already tried to charge me at the drop off location. There's also 60 miles of unused mileage I prepaid for that should cover the gas even at the insane price U-haul charges per gallon. Please remedy this immediately, I should not be responsible for a natural disaster.
ANTHONY SI would like to rate lower only because the first location we had reserved with was closed and no equipment to be found and we had to drive an hour out of our way to get a trailer. Uhaul after requesting did issue me a $50 refund.

DEE SFuel gauge was incorrectly marked by 1/8 but they didn’t charge me that. I needed to drop off a box truck and trailer in two separate location's, so instead of them writing another contract “like im supposed to know that information” they told me I would be able to use the online app to set a different destination for the trailer. This was not the case, 4 days later they charged me another $188 on top of the $265+ I already paid. Uhaul basically told me I’m screwed and there is nothing to dispute. I will not being referring anybody to uhaul and will not be using them for anything ever again. Lied to me from the get go and when I had all the time in the world for them to write up another contract.

Kristine PBetter instructions on how to open the lock. The lever was stuck and if I had known to 'force it' clockwise, the experience would have been better. Also, wifi availability would have tremendously helped the remote checkout process.
Annie DBetter lighting is needed in the lot for the safety of after-hours drop-offs. The location is fairly dark.
