My reservation for a truck included an appliance dolly. When picking up the vehicle, I was informed that there were none available. I was then told to go to another rental location approximately 3 miles away. The second location told me they didn’t have any appliance dollies available either and said that there was no way to look online to see whether or not any specific location had an appliance dolly available for rent. Seems like a deficiency, certainly not something which would help a customer plan a move. The vehicle I rented was a 20 foot box truck. I drove a total of 26 miles. In order to get the gas gauge to where it was when I picked up the truck I had to add 5.6 gallons of gas. That’s less than 5 miles a gallon. I was told that the mileage on the truck trucks isn’t very good. I can’t believe that 5 miles a gallon is acceptable and average.
