The pickup location wasn't staffed. There was one cargo trailer in a parking spot out front which we assumed was ours. There was no one to assist us in connecting the trailer or to sign and print the rental contract. Later, a representative called us to get our information for the contract and had us text a photo from our phone to serve as the inspection. However, we had already driven a over a hundred miles on the interstate at that point. If the trailer wasn't connected properly it would likely already be too late. I would urge U-Haul to reconsider renting trailers from unstaffed locations. It's not merely poor customer service, the potential for a mishap with an uninspected trailer, without a signed rental contract seems like a massive potential liability for the company.

Terrible customer service. Manager was rude on the phone and in person. It's surprising to me that she continues to hold a job there. Past customers wrote the same type of reviews about her. Had I read them before I would gone somewhere else.

The location is under construction. I called a number on the door and was instructed to park the truck and leave the keys. I was uncomfortable with this process. I called the U-Haul number and spoke with a Tenci. I requested assistance in checking in my vehicle. Tenci was rude and unprofessional. When I asked for her name she said it was "Shannon". The only way I know her name was because I received a texted survey indicating her name was Tenci. Tenci hung up on me before I could verify that I completed my check in process.

Didn't even have get out of my car to hook the trailer up. Pulled in called the number and worker came out.

I went to pick up our trailer and someone else grabbed it before us and it had our dolly in it. I don't understand why you give us a confirmation number and assign a truck to us and then give it to somebody else if they got there before us. That means they would have taken our trailer and our appliance dolly that we paid for. Also to return the truck was a pain in the ass. The app did not work at all so we left the keys in the lock box. This place is poorly organized and needs to be improved.

This was location did not have anyone on site to check us in. It was okay but your web site should have identified that it was an unmanned drop off site.

Truck reserved was not available. Wasn't told until the day before my scheduled move, that I had taken off work for. Had to travel 30 miles to pick up the auto hauler, then back 20 miles to pick up truck, then back towards the original trailer location to load out. The equipment was less than what was required, as I needed a ramp to load my upright freezer. Then the freezer wouldn't fit due to the compacted truck. Ended up having to haul my freezer laying on its back. I will be very frustrated if the freezer is ruined. Uhaul should have done a better job. Don't know if I will use you guys again.

The truck was so dirty I had to wear a mask to be in the cab. Due to my asthma and allergy to heavy dust and dirt I was unable to use the truck.

I had no problems with picking up the trailer. It rode with me perfectly all the way to my destination. My only tip to new towing drivers would be to park where you dont have to back up... but that's just me. I never got the hang of that part.

When we called to get information the person we spoke with was very helpful. When we arrived to pick up the trailer there was no one to help and quite frustrating to wait for a code , send pictures it seemed a hassle. although the trailer was clean it was snow covered. When renting the trailer we were told we could drop it at any uhuaul location when we chose the closest one and called we were told that was not the case

Very small parking area for hooking up to a trailer, fortunately no other cars at the time I picked up otherwise could have been extremely difficult. Customer service was great! Pick up/drop off went smoothly.

You moved my pickup location causing me to drive 20 additional miles, to a closed business. I cannot answer these questions because the location was closed at the scheduled pickup and drop off times. Service cannot get any worse than NO SERVICE. I have not had any of these issues with Penske, and will only use Uhaul when I need a trailer.

There was absolutely no help on site in hooking up the car hauling trailer. One tire on the trailer blew out while driving which would prove that the tires were in poor condition. Would never rent from this facility again. They knew we would be driving a very long distance, didn't care that their equipment was ready or safe..

This site needs to open so that the customer is not questioning whether their pick up and drop off dates will be honored. My drop off was charged for two days after I had dropped it off—I suppose because there was nobody there to administrate the drop off. I objected and the dealer corrected the mistake, fortunately.

Customer service was very helpful and kind. Even though the previous customer left the gas on empty, i was given a credit, and information where to get gas right away so I wouldn't run out completely. I cannot recall the representitives' name, but she was the BEST.

I was not told the location office would be closed at the time of pick-up...knowing that this was going to be a 'virtual' pick-up should have been communicated prior to reservation confirmation. Also, the parking area is so small that if there are any other cars parked...you cannot easily access trailers without having to move manually. This is difficult for someone with tendinitis that is on doctor's orders not to lift more than 15 pounds!! This also should be communicated. When I contacted the Manager of the location she was very stressed and rude. I did not appreciate that...I have been a valued customer of U-Haul for many years...I expect better customer service. In the future, I will only rent from the Chinden location.

Truck was blocked in by vehicles and the office was closed. I had to call a number and informed them that the truck was blocked in. I was charged for cleaning when I took pictures and sent them to you showing the vehicle wasn't cleaned when I picked it up. Seems like you just like to charge a cleaning fee to everyone, even though you aren't cleaning the trucks.

I get there to drop off the truck and no one is onsite. There was a phone # to call on the door which I did and no one answered. I left a message and never received a return call. I still have not received a return call. After spending 20 minutes on the phone with 1-800-GO-UHAUL Which was no help at all. They said if no one was there that I would have to return it using my phone but that wasn't working.the lady on the phone was no help. I was told that if I drop the keys in the slot without doing the online checkout I would be charged an additional $20. Why should I have to pay more money because the place I was supposed to drop the rental off was closed during normal business hours. I finally just left the keys in the box. I still have not heard from anyone.

Location was closed at 3 on a Saturday, location barely had any room to turn around and nowhere to park uhaul or trailer. Location also did not have drop box. Trucks should not be dropped off here until the location is ready and open
