Very quick pick and drop off. Personal instructions given were very helpful to someone who was new to large trucks. Loved that Rodmans is local. Nothing to suggest.

I can't think of a thing to improve. Scott was helpful during the initial pickup and the multiple times I had to call to extend the contract. He went the extra mile to confirm that I'd have no problem bringing the round-trip rental into Canada then back to the USA. He'd even printed two copies of the contract for me so I'd have one for my return even if they kept one when I crossed into Canada.
Daniel DScott went out of his was to assure my vehicle could pull the trailer. He made sure we looked over the trailer to make sure of any preexisting damage, and went above and beyond to figure out the issue with my electrical connection (blown fuse). I'd 100% recommend Rodmans!

Seth GDon’t allow reservations that are not available. My reservation was for Ithaca, then was moved. It wasn’t canceled, so no money was refunded for the additional time and expense required to get to the new location. I had made plans and the change added two hours to my trip. This deviation from the original plan required that I borrow another persons truck to meet the deadline I had set. Uhaul caused a major inconvenience in my day and frustrated me incredibly. Please make a system that is accurate so people can plan around their rental. It’s very difficult when Uhaul is the least likely part of a customers plan to work out.

UHAUL did not tell me they had changed my pick up location 20 miles away! Thanks for the help Scott! Shame on UHAUL corporate for not telling me the location changed.

Greg PThe owner of this location could not have been kinder or more helpful. He went above and beyond (in the pouring rain, no less). The equipment, which I believe belongs to U-haul corp, was clean but very old. The latch on the rolling door was so sloppy from age that it wouldn't hold without being lashed. One positive-- the trailer tires looked new. I will say also, through no fault of this location's operator, the U-Haul "reservation" system led me on a merry chase this time and is unreliable, unfair, uncaring and in many ways infuriating.
antonett fEven though the location was closed (it was Sunday) there was someone there (Mr. Rodman?) who was extremely helpful with allowing me to use the location WiFi when there was no signal. He was also great when I called prior to pickup with a question. Great experience with this location!

Matthew NI was satisfied with complete service,Scott a great person to do bussiness with.He kind,honest,straightforward and very social and leaves you smiling and happy with his service.He treats everyone like their his family.I give him all the stars in the world for his patience and honesty.Thank you Scott I keep you in mind when I need car repair,your type man to do bussiness with.Keep faith up..I blame u haul for not putting reserved equipment at convenient location for the renter to pick up and return.I feel uhaul themselves has a horrible service to there customers.You should be able to reserve something ahead of time and uhaul bring it to location you want to pick it up at for you.Way this works out uhaul does nothing for their customers ,except repair equipment when needed .I very dissatisfied to learn this information cause who wants drive extra hour trip to get equipment they need when your tired trying to move .I just don't see where uhaul does anything for there customers except take their money.Even car dealership move car from one lot to another for customer to test drive in Hope's of a sale .What does uhaul do for us..Definitely not convenience not Scott fault or any locations fault they get what we people bring them.Really horrible system in my option.Learning tg his no wonder that go so many locations to make look good,I hate drive hour one way extra everytime I want rent box trailer,when uhaul location down street from me and never gets them only trucks.Weird how man th more havent complained.They should provide us with some sort of service too ,like us choosing where we want pick it up and drop it off.Oh yeah we pay double for that one way .I realize now why many won't rent from uhaul no more..cannot wait to buy my own trailer,look money I save alone in gas.Its ridulious ,this company never moves there equipment around for us to pick it up.We do them favor really .I thought renting box trailer and returning to close location so as I need it it be close by but guess what someone might rent one way then wherever it end up it stays till next person rents is crazy bussiness deal..each locations needs equal equiptment this is nuts..I never realized how we decide where and who has what...

David TThe renting experience was a pleasure. Scott was great to explain all little things that I needed to know for safe towing, and equipment operation. Scott check the tire pressure in the trailer, to ensure everything is in a good order before me driving away. The only concern was the payment processing site which was down, and created a lot of frustration for Scott and I. In every other aspect, this was an excellent experience. Will certainly rent from Scott again.

Edwin MMy poor rating does not reflect on Footes at all. They were very professional. My complaint is with my entire booking experience. I was notified less that 24 hours in advance that I wasn't going to get the trailer that I reserved 2 weeks before. "It isn't available"!! My original agreement with U-Haul was not honored. Very frustrating as my time constraint was very limited to start with. I had to go 20 miles each way to find a trailer to suit my purpose 1 day earlier that I had anticipated throwing my transport and return delivery off by 16 hours. Totally unacceptable!! Then when I got home after unloading the trailer and returning it to the return site 3 miles from my home my daughter informed me that I received a call from the Ithaca U-haul stating that I was late returning the trailer to their site and a customer was waiting for it. My paper work shows that I was supposed to return the trailer to the site that I returned it to. Why would I choose to return a trailer to Ithaca which is 20 miles away when I can return it to Rodman's which is 3 miles away? Makes no sense. This experience took a college graduation day which should have been a joyous day into a very stressful experience. I will relay this experience to my co workers and friends. I will not use U-haul in the future. I have to reiterate that this experience does not reflect negatively on Foote's or Rodman's. They were wonderful people to deal with. My negative review goes much deeper into the management of U-Haul. Sincerely Bill Miller

Laurie HThe location was great but the reservation handling was horrible. I reserved the trailer at Uhaul of Ithaca, NY 4 months in advance for Saturday th 19th at 7AM. . I live in Michigan. 12 hours before I was to start my drive I revceived an email moving the reservation a day earlier and 30 miles from Ithaca. The locaition was not open on Saturday and closed at 4pm on the friday before. My wife and I were was forced to take an additional day off from work costing more thatn $800. This is redicuolus. I will never rent from you again.

ROBERT LThis location was 38 miles from where I lived. Was disappointed that a truck was not available where I had rented it from as I booked it several weeks in advance. Someone should have gotten an available truck and brought it to this location. I called to ask about this a week before the rental and told it would be available.
