When I arrived even though it was a Mobil pick up we still had to contact the owners of the lot. Which took 15 minutes. The engine light came on as I was headed to load the truck. We finished with the truck early went to take it back. Couldn’t get in the lot! Tried contacting the owners to get the code to gate for over 25 minutes even texted them. So we left, we were needing our vehicle back that was locked in the gate. Which caused us to put more miles on the truck going back to the address and back again to drop the truck off. The owner messaged me 2 hrs later with the code. Not a good way to be running a business. I have to now pay for miles that were unnecessary!!!

GARLAND BEasy communication with the owner, who I had to call regarding extending my rental. This was my easiest transaction while preparing and dealing with federal disaster level flooding. There was no pressure from the owner on a return date, during my two weeks of endless cleanup. Thanks

Terra AEasier Access to equipment and check out. Not sure why if you log in to your uhaul account and enter all pertinent information, you then have to give it all again when picking up the truck. I'm under the assumption that is the major reason for having a uhual account to streamline the renting process; seems a bit redundant.
DOUGLAS JThe windshield wipers needed replaced it was raining the day I used the truck . Lack of personal contact in person everything was done over the phone .was suppose to have blankets to use for the move none was in the truck .The only time I saw anyone in person when I took the truck back .
Jeff FIt was very difficult to rent this truck. This truck is located at a storage facility and when I arrived, there was no one there and the gate was locked. Once we finally got a hold of somebody still with no attendant we had to manually look for the keys of the truck, they were locked to put up someplace else, but we had to look for them. It was quite a bit of job just to get the truck rented.

Kathy HI requested a trailer in Lexington. Ended up needing to drive all the way to Winchester. Wait 30-45 min to check out. I confirmed that they offered after hours drop off. When I arrived there was no access or instructions. I reached out to the local contact with no reply. I contacted UHaul to drop the trailer off at another location. After waiting on the phone for another 20 mins, they gave me a gate code. So I drive BACK to the site again to drop it off. This whole rental should have taken 15 mins total. It ended up being over 4 hours of my time. It will likely be my last rental from UHaul.

mandeep SThe location that we actually got the Uhaul from was Rolling Hills Storage their customer Service was excellent his Name was Scott!! But Harper’s Pawn Shop On Lexington Road Winchester Kentucky was a different situation, we had reserved on July22, 2024! But the reservation was placed on July 15, 2024, I, Requested a 26ft truck and when we went to pick it up they replaced it with a 15ft truck. This was so unacceptable and I was so disappointed because we had paided men to load the Truck because of my health condition and and my spouse health condition. I was so astonished in unbelief that this could happen, I didn’t know what we were going to do about this situation. But we did find another location was so amazed with their positive and very well manner attitude and commitment!!!

Paul SNo over charge someone for fuel charges when they didn't over use on fuel. The tank was on empty when we got in. The lady on customer service line showed that the fuel information was tampered with. The process from beginning to end was not kosher from the app not working (location services was on and it still didn't work) to the final receipt.
Stacey PNo I would not recommend any U-Haul company they are hidden charges that they will apply to your account. I have voiced my concern with a reference number. I Do NOT RECOMMEND any U-Haul business

David MThey didn’t leave a code to drop off the U-Haul at night. Had to drive it all the way back to original location. They should have a way to drop off U-Haul all hours of the night.
Susan RVehicle was muddy on the inside, someone smoked cigarettes in it, ashes all over. The dashboard was cracked, and the storage portion had dirt and debris from the previous renter.
amanda jScott Spicer was the greatest Representative I've ever encountered of any company I've ever dealt with. My move itself was a disaster and I ended up needing to keep the uhaul longer than expected causing, I'm sure, a role effect that affected uhaul. Scott handled it with professionalism and prestige. Not only would I recommend this location but, I would recommend uhaul over any other rental company that exist. Thank you Scott and uhaul for going the extra 10 million miles to help me!.

There were going to let us use their own laptop if we couldn't get it to work on the app. They are some awesome people and would definitely rent from them again and tell everyone that needs a uhaul to come to Rolling Hills Storage.
