Please you should understand that sometimes things happen when renting one and with stress people do forget to call in just be a little more understanding and try not to be rude about it cause the ones renting it are already stressed enough with the issues of moving Thank you have a blessed day

Very frustrated with the computer side of this process. I was told the day before to go to a different location for pickup and then there was never a vehicle. There. Ended up driving back to the original location for a larger vehicle. Ron's fruit market location was great and the other location was great too but the fact that there was no vehicle there. It was very disappointing as I had scheduled it probably about 3 months in advance.

Did not have starting milage on my paper. Did not give me a receipt. No break down of costs. Truck was filthy and damaged. All in all it was horrible.

The Ramp on a 26' truck used to have a longer Ramp that ramp was very short and very steep was very short, made our move a lot more inconvenient that needs changed ASAP was not happy about that.

The vehicle had major mechanical issues and there was glass in the interior of the cab. My 8 yr old son found an inappropriate statue in between the seats.

If you don't need assistance with anything and you're in Milroy it's fine. Other than that no one seemed to know what to do and said the uhaul guy wasn't around.

The truck itself clearly had issues. At one time it simply would not start properly and had us stay in the same location for hours on end in the rain trying to get it fixed or trying to get someone out the location to fix it. Then there were issues with the tailgate where it wouldn’t even open, despite working earlier in the day. When talking to the person that came out to help, it was determined that the truck itself came from a line of trucks that had a number of reported issues. So while the truck was relatively new, the issues that had popped up very quickly made the rental far worse.

the location of drop off was 10 miles from where i had asked to drop off. again, no notice until i opened the app to drop off truck. Location was fine but it was inconvenient.

This location charged us the equivalent of almost 7 dollars a gallon to fill a gas tank on a truck we returned on a 5am morning with hardly anything open. His greed shines through and through….avoid this Fruit Market/Repair Shop/U-Haul/Lawn & Garden Repair Center at all costs.

Have moving accessories available for last minute sale, and train the staff on what the words on the screen actually mean. This man told me he really didn't know...yet he was the only one in that dept

I had no interaction with the team at the Reedsville location so this review is not a reflection of that particular location or the employees there. My issue is with uhaul’s “policies” around making reservations. I scheduled a reservation on my account/email/credit card and listed my father as the driver. From that point on, I was not allowed to speak to uhaul about my reservation and they would only speak to my dad since he was the driver. The emails and texts regarding my reservation were sent to me under my name, but when I called to make a change they would not talk to me. This is a ridiculous policy and makes no sense to me. I wasn’t able to change the pick up location or anything after the fact even though it was my reservation and I just happened to have a different person driving the truck. The scheduling team or customer service people I spoke to at 203-795-1371 were very unhelpful. For this reason I will not be using uhaul again.

Instructions were not very clear. I never got a code for the box, it just happened to be already set to open. I went early to talk to someone to make sure everything was squared away (I read somewhere that the desk was open until 1) but was then told it closed at 12 had no instructions for after hours. Communication could have been better.

Overall OK experience at this pickup location. Truck cleanliness was average. Recent U-Haul experience is that cabs are always dirty and sticky so I don’t expect much anymore. Only other comment is that I did not receive a call day before to confirm pickup and had to call to confirm myself. Not a big deal just not what I was told to expect.

The owner even though the Uhaul was not open on Sunday helped me complete my online order so I could pickup the truck. Without his help I would not have been able to move my things out of storage until I don't know how long.

Windshield was covered with snow and ice. Rear overhead door was frozen shut. Gas gauge was 1/4 tank less than shown on rental contract. I reported this to the Uhaul agent and they said they would correct it. I was charged $20 fuel charge even though I returned truck with 1/8 tank more than it was received with. Uhaul agent did not return call to rectify discrepancy.

There were many issues associated with this rental which were unrelated to the pick up point. Everyone at Ron's was very nice. I had requested a 26 foot truck as I was moving out of state. Only 2 days before the move, I was informed that I could only get a 20 foot truck even though where it was picked up had a 26 foot truck (State College). This caused us to also rent a trailer. Upon reviewing the contract they had me dropping off the trailer in the town where I was moving to and had me crossing the border into Canada to drop off the truck which made absolutely no sense. UHaul needs to have the equipment dropped off in the town where the person is moving to. Also when 26 foot truck is requested , this should be considered when the person is moving long distance.

The staff at Ron’s we’re very helpful and accommodating to me during my move. The 6x12 trailer I rented was fantastic and pulled very well behind my Ford F-250.

It took me almost an hour to check in the truck because the drop off location has horrible cell reception and no wifi. It was infuriating to sit there in the humidity and heat trying to check it in for fear of being charged for something out of our control.
