I had no interaction with the team at the Reedsville location so this review is not a reflection of that particular location or the employees there. My issue is with uhaul's â€œpoliciesâ€ around making reservations. I scheduled a reservation on my account/email/credit card and listed my father as the driver. From that point on, I was not allowed to speak to uhaul about my reservation and they would only speak to my dad since he was the driver. The emails and texts regarding my reservation were sent to me under my name, but when I called to make a change they would not talk to me. This is a ridiculous policy and makes no sense to me. I wasn't able to change the pick up location or anything after the fact even though it was my reservation and I just happened to have a different person driving the truck. The scheduling team or customer service people I spoke to at 203-795-1371 were very unhelpful. For this reason I will not be using uhaul again.Kelly W.

Instructions were not very clear. I never got a code for the box, it just happened to be already set to open. I went early to talk to someone to make sure everything was squared away (I read somewhere that the desk was open until 1) but was then told it closed at 12 had no instructions for after hours. Overall OK experience at this pickup location. Truck cleanliness was average. Recent U-Haul experience is that cabs are always dirty and sticky so I don't expect much anymore. Only other comment is that I did not receive a call day before to confirm pickup and had to call to confirm myself. Not a big deal just not what I was told to expect.John B.
The owner even though the Uhaul was not open on Sunday helped me complete my online order so I could pickup the truck. Without his help I would not have been able to move my things out of storage until I don't know how long.Margaret Elaine D.

Windshield was covered with snow and ice. Rear overhead door was frozen shut. Gas gauge was 1/4 tank less than shown on rental contract. I reported this to the Uhaul agent and they said they would correct it. I was charged $20 fuel charge even though I returned truck with 1/8 tank more than it was received with. Uhaul agent did not return call to rectify discrepancy.DOUGLAS K.

There were many issues associated with this rental which were unrelated to the pick up point. Everyone at Ron's was very nice. I had requested a 26 foot truck as I was moving out of state. Only 2 days before the move, I was informed that I could only get a 20 foot truck even though where it was picked up had a 26 foot truck (State College). This caused us to also rent a trailer. Upon reviewing the contract they had me dropping off the trailer in the town where I was moving to and had me crossing the border into Canada to drop off the truck which made absolutely no sense. UHaul needs to have the equipment dropped off in the town where the person is moving to. Also when 26 foot truck is requested , this should be considered when the person is moving long distance.JAMES H.

It took me almost an hour to check in the truck because the drop off location has horrible cell reception and no wifi. It was infuriating to sit there in the humidity and heat trying to check it in for fear of being charged for something out of our control.CARA W.
