Clean but we did get mice in our unit and had to disinfect (I think the mice liked the storage blankets). Otherwise all good.

Right after I rented the trailer, I got a message from someone in Reno saying I had to return the trailer to Gardnerville, NEVADA! That's insane. That would have been more in gas than the rental. And an entire day of travel. Why does UHaul have districts? The Reno guy said Bishop, CA wasn't his "jurisdiction". That makes no sense.

Wesley PLet customers know that there are options. I paid UHaul $370 to rent a trailer one-way from Bishop, CA to Elko, NV. I picked up the trailer on a Wednesday and dropped off the trailer on a Thursday. Two things come to mind: 1) What would the price have been had I done a two-day, one-way rental? 2) What would the price have been had I agreed to drive the trailer back to Bishop?

PETER TMy dropoff location was changed from the one originally scheduled. I got there without a problem, but when I got there the sign on the door said the office hours during the week were from 3 to 5pm. I was not informed of that. Yes, I started the self register the drop off, about half way through my registering the dropoff, a person working at the facility drove up. He was early to work (good sign). Very friendly guy and quickly and efficiently did the paperwork. Since I only saw the outside of the facility (and not the inside of the office), it was the first time I have either picked up or dropped off at a house, vs. one of you usual rental offices. From the outside, it looked rundown and vehicles were somewhat (but not well) organized like your other facilities. That is why I rated the facility below average.
Christopher SIt was a nightmare trying to do the mobile app. Jeff was really nice but only there 3-5pm so he couldn't help us. If there was a link to preregister & tell you what to expect, I didn't see it. It would have been helpful. Due to a mistake on our escrow papers we were not there at the proper time. The lady on the phone at UHAUL was a godsend & got us through, but it took an hour. I won't recommend using the mobile app to any friends or clients.

dean wI was expecting someone to show up whenever they felt like coming because customer service is pretty much a thing of the past. Jeff showed up 5 minutes early! He was kind, respectful and professional. It took maybe 10-15 minutes to do the paperwork and get me hooked up and all the lights checked. I was very happy! And just in case anyone thinks that's a long time, I couldn't find my drivers license for a few minutes so... Yes I will do business here again! Yes I recommend this site to my friends! Thank you Jeff for helping my long day start off efficiently and stress free.

DEAN SUhaul changed my pickup location to this one; I did not choose it. It was in the middle of nowhere and I had to drive extra and spend extra on gas to get to it.

ALBERTO MThis place is great to rent from. This man is so nice and professional. I will always use his rental place. We arrived earlier than our scheduled time and when we contacted him, he allowed us to pick up the U-haul early. Great personal relation skills.
Thomas LTruck had mechanical issues that made it difficult to operate. It was taken out of service at the drop off location due to these issues. It should not have been leased in that condition in the first place. Additionally, we had to pay out of pocket for windshield wipers and did not get reimbursed. Finally, Uhaul miscalculated the distance of the trip (allowed milage) and charged extra milage fees when reality struck. This was also not corrected or reimbursed. Will not be using Uhaul anymore. There are many other great competitors to choose from these days.

Staff is super friendly and only a walk or phone call away. It seems they have storage units to fit all your needs, small ones for hobbies, medium ones for the extras around the house or huge ones to fit your whole house in while waiting for your next home. Pricing is reasonable and set ups are a breeze. Did I mention the view? Simply gorgeous.
