You guys did fine, the truck was not that great and expensive compared to other shipping companies, I will probably go with another company next time.
DAWN MEli the clerk was rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. The store didn’t have the dolly I’d requested. None of the personnel at the store offered to assist me with inspecting or hitching the trailer. The trailer itself was parked at an odd angle and situated in front of a uhaul truck, making it impossible to open the doors completely to check functionality. The seal on the top of the doors was damaged, which resulted in some of my property getting wet and dirty. A state trooper at a gas station voiced his concern for the tires, stating that they appeared dry rotted. I’ve moved across the country with Uhaul 4 times now, and this has been the worst experience thus far. On a positive note, the southern Colorado regional manager, John, was extremely helpful and professional.

Jonathon SThe truck hadn't been cleaned out at all. When I booked the truck it was for Colorado Springs. I ended up having to drive an hour away to the middle of Pueblo to get the truck. When I arrived the truck keys weren't in the lock box and the code the agent on the phone gave me was already entered into the lockbox as it was left by the crew at the rental location apparently the night before. The keys were also not in the return bin. We ended up waiting for about 45 minutes for the location to open to get the keys. The employees at the location never verified I was actually the person who was supposed to be picking up the truck and just gave us the keys. I had booked packing blankets and a dolly. Neither were in the truck. The rear tires of the truck were totally caked in mud as it appears it was driven off-road. The cab was filthy and the cargo area of the truck was filled with junk all over the floor. I had movers waiting at my location and ended up paying them for the time I was wasting sitting outside this location in Pueblo because they don't know how to operate as a U-Haul rental location. I spoke to the Southern Colorado regional U-Haul rep and suggested that this location lose their ability to rent going forward. The regional office didn't seem too concerned with dirty truck, missing keys, missing equipment and lack of knowledge demonstrated by the renting location. So I guess if U-Haul doesn't care they don't need the business?
