Biggest waste of a day, what should have been 20 minutes turned into 90-minutes. They didn't have the rental or the equipment I requested. A larger size truck was rented instead, which was a pain to park and used more fuel. In order to get the equipment I request I had to drive up to the nearest U-haul center, were I could have probably rented everything I needed in the first place. The representative at Rust Check was very friendly, enough to possibly use his actual services in the future. The last few times renting a U-haul have been a pain to the point where I've been using Home Depot rentals.darryl R.

Don't use service stations for pick up & drop offs. The truck was so boxed in that we couldn't do a walk around. If we had been able to, we would not have accepted that truck. A large piece of metal was hanging down behind the rear tire on the passenger side of the truck. Looked like a broken bracket from the side paneling. We ended up with a flat tire that took 4 hours to fix. When we noticed the metal bracket, after arriving at our destination, we insisted that the truck be towed back. Our driver also stated that the steering wheel felt loose.Peter K.

Firstly the truck was in miserable condition it was neither clean nor disinfected and gas was at a quarter tank. Besides that owner/manager had removed the dolly from the truck inspite of me specifically requesting a dolly when I did the reservation. I had to go to 3 locations to find a dolley in the uhaul truck after I picked the truck that means I also had to pay for the km for finding a stupid dolly. I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO AVOID THIS LOCATION !!!Alnoor K.

There's sign it say open 8 am but place opened 9:10 am One day Before renting a van I spoke to him on the phone and I told him I need a van for 5-6 hours. He booked it. Next morning I was there 8:30 the place was closed . It was opened after 9:10. Then he was preparing my paperwork somebody came and ask him about car wiring he stopped paperwork started to talk to him . After 15 min later That guy left than another person came and started to ask about something else again he stopped my paperwork and answer him. more than 45 min later he showed me the van and gave the key. I left from there around 10 am. Than I got the message from U-Haul it says you need return the van 1 pm . Without asking anything he wrote 3 hours on the paper . I didn't check it because 1 day before I told him 5-6 hours. Than I called him and tell that it was mistake can you fix it. He told me that if I don't drop it off 1 pm I will charge you. I told him that I booked the van 5-6 hours and you didn't ask me any questions about it. His answer was same " if I don't drop it off 1 pm I will charge you." It was a nightmare experience.Huseyin V.

First. I was given a confirmation email to pick up qt 1 location and then when i got there they told me to go to another location. 4 buses and 1 train later. The when i get there. He said he sont take debit or visa. I didn't want to pay cash. Then. I have appliances to move and 2 queensize platform beds so a dolly was 100% needed. And he didn't have a dolly. But i was still charged for it and not reinbursed. Needless to say my 9am pick up became 1215pm pick up and my move lasted til midnight that night. Our backs are hurting. I cant afforded to be ripped off i am a single mother. So was my move or customer service good? No way.Christine T.

I have been over charged, have already talked to the dealership and was expecting to resolve my issues. for Contact number 90625482 I have been charged for $98.62 on July 16 and $28.00 on July 17th. It needs a simple math calculation: pick up Km: 5230, Returned: 5302 with same amount of gas when picked up(1/4) and same day. no insurance requested as my VISA covers all rentals. How much should I pay? Is it too tough to calculate???ali S.

The business owner is funny, courteous, fast, and flexible. However, the place of business is messy and dirty and not appealing at all. There's not much space to park, the pavement is covered in oil and is slippery, there's papers and stuff everywhere on the owner's desk. There's not much u-haul equipment and supplies available.Sanjin Z.

The representative was making some sexual jokes about me and my girlfriend which was not acceptable at all. I would never recommend or promote u-haul because of this terrible experience. I would like head office to take firm actions against their franchise holder or a Representative. I am not even sure if my privacy will be compromised after me complaining about him. I was shifted by UHaul many kilometres away to Scarborough and I had to pick up a day early. You can't talk to anyone other than the at the pickup location to get somewhere closer on the right day.
