U-Haul loves to try to scam you for more money, they wanted to charge us 120$ for only 24 hours of use. You’re a joke U-Haul! Fuck off

STEVEN NAfter my initial inspection I used the truck then I did my clean up of the rental and found stuff left from the previous user, which was a bunch of tobacco and cigarette butts
Danny Mdidn’t include my dolly that i wanted and changed both my preferred locations.
MIGUEL VThe gas tank was not easy to find so having to return it unfilled to the same spot and having to pay extra was kind of frustrating.
Serena DFor starters leave an ice scraper in the vehicle!! And why on earth do I want to tromp through a muddy lot to get to my car??? You do realize that most of the people using these trucks are moving to new buildings and houses, correct? Belive it or not people don't want to immediately track mud into the house or onto the clean driveway.

RIGOBERTO GAll of the vehicles were out of gas, I was charged more than I was quoted and the location will not answer their phone. They didn't have the moving blankets I was quoted and paid for. I was told there would be deductions for the hassle of all this and yet they charged me 50% more than I was quoted.

Sergey GCustomer Service was horrible. The truck broke down, luckily once I reached our destination. Still, I was stranded with no where to go and wasn't able to make it to my airbnb without pulling many strings. I was on the phone with 20+ service representatives and 4 mechanics before they would send a tow truck out the next day. I received no help or compensation for my time. Not to mention I was in a truck that smelled like cigarettes and mildew.
Preston BUhaul promised me a rate and increased it while I was picking the truck up. Ordered the truck with a dolly and when I got to the storage unit realized they didn’t put a dolly in it. I drove a total of 15 miles round trip and put 2 gallons in the tank. They still decided to charge me $10 for 2 more gallons of gas. 4 gallons of gas to travel 15miles? Been using uhaul for about 20 years and won’t be returning. Thanks!

brent sRes #: 89572767 - the day before our rental date of 7/26 I received a text with the pick-up location changed to 225 W. State, Lehi, UT. My reservation was for 8:00AM and set up for mobile pick-up. The site you sent me to for pick-up does not have mobile pick-up capability and the business was not open. Your customer service person (who was exceptional) changed the reservation to Rydon who was fantastic. Who messed up? Should the State Street location have noticed it was an 8:00AM pick-up? Should HQ have known State Street does not have a key box for early pick-up? I had loaders waiting for over an hour since I was late with the truck. Rydon and your customer service was great in a pinch. Can HQ refund my credit card $200 for the stress and loss time of the loaders? Seems like the pick-up location should not have been changed at the last minute. Who made that decision?
Ronald HThe location check during check in didn't work on Android. I had to wait for someone with an apple device to show up. This is unacceptable as it cost me 40 minutes of waiting around just to check in. Customer service took 20 minutes to get ahold of.
Austin SDouble axle trailer didn’t have a crank and was a beast to lift up. They saw me out struggling trying to lift it up and place on my vehicle and didn’t want to help. Was parked on an incline so when I lifted it up it rolled into my bumper and left a decent sized dent. Poor customer service.

Limihai II arrived without a reservation and rented a trailer. Within 20 minutes, I was hitched up and on my way. I would highly recommend renting from this location.

Eric NAfter being pushed to another location and then that location didn’t have my rental. I had to drive across the file to get a truck. Only to find out after I got home to load stuff in that truck that there was a lock on my truck with a code no one knew. Calling the place I rented from didn’t work. Called them 7 times no pickup. This what a terrible experience. I would never recommend or even use u Haul again. I’ll pay 5x the cost to have someone do it all for me.
