For starters leave an ice scraper in the vehicle!! And why on earth do I want to tromp through a muddy lot to get to my car??? You do realize that most of the people using these trucks are moving to new buildings and houses, correct? Belive it or not people don't want to immediately track mud into the house or onto the clean driveway.
