I returned my equipment in the allotted time period at the location provided to me. I just received an email stating the truck was returned to Madison, AL on today and have already been charged again. I paid 1299.24 when I picked up the equipment. Today I was charged 832.

The AC system went completely out to include loss of any air movement in the cab. Entire trip was in extreme July heat on a Sunday thus unable to obtain a replacement and was not going to wait 1.5 hours for a service truck on the side of the road.

Everything was very good except for when I was finished at 4:00 in the morning and I was turning the truck in. I was ready to go to my new home because I was beat down from everything that I had moved. And before I could leave the parking lot I had to take pictures of the cab, take pictures of the back of the truck. I understand why it needed to be done but that was the last thing I felt like doing at 4:00 in the morning. Also, I feel like $0.79 a mile is a little steep but luckily I was only moving 11 mi away and had to make two trips.

We came to this location because another u haul dealer in town gave us horrible customer service so we cancelled. We decided to give uhaul one more chance and the agents at Safe Mini Storage were excellent.

I have rented many uhauls in my life and overall had good experiences. This move was a little difficult due to no ramp on the 10 foot truck and the appliance dolly we got was broken and really couldn't use due to no ramp. I didn't realize that there was no ramp until I went outside with employee to look over the truck. I did ask her if she had a larger truck that had a ramp and offered to pay the difference. There were 3 other larger trucks on the property but I do understand that they were already taken. I was upset that I had to drive 25 miles one way to pick up the truck, most of my money was spent on the $50 for miles. We are building a house and moving in with family until it's completed, we are storing everything in our current house and will need to rent another 2-3 trucks. I am unsure if we will rent from uhaul again as there are three uhaul truck providers within 5 miles of my home.

The van was dirty on both the outside and inside. The equipment worked and operated as it should.

Person on duty had absolutely no idea we were returning a trailer that U-Haul had asked us to return along with our truck. The place where we picked up the trailer didn't know we were picking it up and the place where we dropped it didn't know we were dropping it. I completely blame U-Haul for not managing and training its contracted people and employees correctly. I will never use U-Haul again.

I tried for 10 minutes to Share my Location (in the rain...ugh), but couldn't share it even after making sure location service was on and even after tapping “Share My Location,” within the app on my phone. The truck I rented was on site before the return time, but my phone did not let me share. As a result, I had to pay a $20 convenience fee. CHECK YOUR PHONE before you leave the site to make sure you're able to share when returning after hours.

Please work on the “Shared Location” functionality of the online Return feature. It took me 28 minutes and numerous attempts of trying to use the online Return feature which resulted in a failure to connect. Two different devices were used to ensure that the problem was not caused by faulty equipment on my part. Furthermore, several attempts were made to contact the Service Department via phone to get the issue resolved, but after several minutes of waiting the phone calls were disconnected. If not for this issue, I would have scored the company an Excellent rating.

Customer service was awesome! The lady walked me through the process and took time to answer my questions. After realizing a feature I wanted wasn't on the truck I reserved she went back and adjusted to put me in a larger truck and didn't even act irritated by the extra time it took. What I didn't like was the process to return the truck after hours! Please consider providing free guest WIFI for those who don't have unlimited data on their phones. The after-hours return process is lengthy and can be frustrating after an already exhausting day of moving.

I was charged for two rental periods but I picked up the trailer and dropped it off in the same day and had the trailer for less than 8 hours. Not only did they double charge me the rental rate, they also double charged me on the insurance.

The 24/7 online checkin was way too confusing- if it had not been for a Uhaul employee seeing me in the parking lot- I would not have been able to check out the truck.

This was my first experience with the app only pickup. I found it very displeaseing that two employees just sit at their desk and offered no help, even though they could see me through the window. I do understand keeping people out of the office but if they aren't going to do anything then there should be an app only discount. I needed a truck and uhaul fulfilled my retirement 100% and I am very happy with the availability but I will not return to this location unless it's my only option in the future. Happy customer but unhappy at yet another business taking advantage of a situation.

I had delays checking out and checking in but I understand the need for the check out and check in app due to the corona virus and more than happy to comply. The mileage and gas level did not match what the app was showing in the truck i was renting, so I followed app instrutions and promps and took pictures of the odometer and gas level differences through the app. I'm still waiting to get the correct billing and the hold off of my checking account. I really enjoy renting from U haul ! Just a little stumble with the app. :)

The terminals were down due to communications damage in Nashville, TN. The employee used his personal cell phone to get the truck rented. Excellent dealing with a bad situation.

The staff was great. Also, as a side note, the truck was easier to drive and had better suspension than the Penske trucks I have rented in the past. That's why I will go with UHaul from now on.
