The workers at this location were extremely helpful, and definitely went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of during a sudden rain shower over the immediate area. I had just finished unloading the trailer, and while I did expect them to wait out the rain shower, they desired for my absolute customer satisfaction, and wanted me to be able to leave their business and get back with my family. Well I ordered my UHaul at the beginning of last week and was told that I would receive a call about confirming my pickup by Friday of last week by 6pm. I never received a call. I woke up by the grace of God of 8:07 to see that I had a text and missed call from UHaul. Instead of my truck being at my location, about 2.5 miles down the road in Jacksonville AL, there was no truck at all. I had to drive to and from Madison AL. A 4 hour round trip. I was highly irrated because it was my last day to get out of my current lease residence. So instead of starting after 10am on loading the truck, we weren't able to start until about 2:30pm Saturday July 31st. We didn't load the last box into the truck until nearly midnight (11:56pm) to be exact. Also whomever had my truck before did not report that he damaged the moms Attic terribly and I had rain come into the truck and damaged a few pieces of furniture and boxes. To say I'm happy about my experience would be a complete lie. Amber from Customer Service (UHaul telephone number) was incredible, Melissa Bautista at the pickup in Madison was also amazing, as well as Khan from Customer Service number. He assured I'd get my deposit back. Amber helped her me a 30 gift certificate which was very kind and alotted me an additional 100 miles bc of the drive. Everyone that I spoke to was amazing however I should not have received a call or text 2 hours before I picked up my truck. Very poor logistics and very poor service on that. I just wanted to be honest with this comment.JAMES H.
Something wrong with the trailer. I've rented these many times from Uhaul and never had trouble loading my motorcycle but this time I had problems every time. I would bottom out.where the gate meets the bed. Only way to load was.to keep moving trailer until.the gate sat higher allowing the bike to go over the transition.SCOTT R.

I reserved a 10 foot truck and was given a 26 foot truck even though there were 2 10 foot there. The gas cost a lot more when your driving 9 hours. When I called uhaul I was told the other 2 trucks were reserved. Why do they keep there reservations but mine is rejected.Thomas W.

U-Haul changed my pick-up location and only notified me at the last minute. When I called to speak with someone they were not very helpful and referred me to someone else. The person I was transferred to was in another state and not responsible for my area but helped me anyway. I wish I had her name because she went out of here way to help me. 1. Explain that you are charging a person for insurance and ask them if they want it. Melissa never mentioned she was tacking on insurance coverage and when I called her back the next day to inquire why I was charged for something I did NOT ask for her response was NOT helpful at all and I was told to call the 1-800 to dispute. Mind you I only used the truck for 4 miles and I put $20 of gas in the truck just to be nice. Won't be going back to this branch ANYMORE! Thanks Melissa âœŒðŸ¾CRAIG W.

Maintenance the trucks more regularly with higher mileage; not just regular minimum oil change maintenance. The truck I drove has some serious transmission issues that will soon become transmission failure issues. I've driven Uhaul trucks in worse condition & better condition. I was surprised no engine or transmission dashboard lights were on; but I wouldn't be surprised if the lights were tampered with to stay off either though.ZACHARY K.

I was told when I rented my truck, I would have a â€œpreferred drop-off locationâ€ sent to me in a text. I told them that I would be dropping it off at a location close to my home I was moving into later that day. They said to call that specific location prior to dropping it off to make sure that they weren't full and could accept the truck. I said okay. I was sent a text with a location that was 20 minutes away from my house (not the one I was planning on dropping off to which was roughly 5 minutes away). I called the man that rented it to me, I called the location I was planning on dropping it off to, and the man that called my phone at work and left a rude voicemail saying I would be charged twice INCLUDING reservation guarantees for two other renters because my truck I rented was not dropped off at their â€œREQUIREDâ€ location. It said in my contract to drop off the truck at the location stated in the contract. It also said if dropping off at a location different than the one listed in the contract (there wasn't one) to call the drop-off number. I did so. There was not one listed BECAUSE I told them I would be dropping it off at a location closer to my home. It is not my fault that your company is incompetent and your communication skills are sub par at best. I will never, EVER be using this company again. And I will never refer you to anyone.
