JIMMIE SHave more than one knowledgeable rep Do not allow 24/7 pickup here bc there’s only one person that can help if you have a problem. 24/7 phone rep and managers were unbearably rude, dismissive, unhelpful, snarky, short tempered, suggested I stand in the road to get better WiFi and then argued for a very long time that my photo came thru once so she didn’t get why it wasn’t again so I shouldn’t be having an issue doing more. Didn’t know my data plan was on trial….This spot in Sanford is a one horse town….you get what you get. So I should not have had to stand in the boiling heat and repeat something I did verbally with 3 previous reps before the reservation even began. Doesn’t take much to be helpful and polite in the service industry bc after all you’re dealing with people….

Paul HThe folks up here at San Lee Auto Sales are very helpful. I had to pick up 4 hours earlier than my scheduled time and they made that happen with no problem. The truck was clean and well maintained. My only complaint would be that for what U-Haul charges, the trucks should have cruise control. I mean c'mon, it's 2023. But that is a U-Haul corporate issue, not San-Lee's fault. If you need a U-Haul, use San-Lee with confidence.

Hunter TThe trailer had a cut wire in the harness when I picked it up. I had to take it across town to be repaired, with no lights on the trailer. Even after the repair, electrical issues persisted with the trailer. Inspect the equipment! Lost over an hour of my time having to deal with something that should not have happened. The only advice given was "Well you can leave the trailer, someone else will rent it if you don't even with the wiring issue."
Yuri SI originally needed a pickup truck and none was available, so U-Haul upgraded me to a 15' truck for free. Upon checkout, the location charged me the actual rate for the truck and double charged me for my mileage package. A call to U-Haul the next business day cleared everything up and I received a refund of the difference. Overall a great experience and even with the wrong billing that happened.

CARMEN CThe online check-in was terrible. We did the mobile app and waited so long we had to call and wait some more. We waited over 45 minutes so we didn't actually get to use our 8:00 rental until 8:50.
Jay MWebsite had trouble uploading photos. Also, did not ask for a Dolley nor was the hand truck locked in so basically it was in the way. Everything else was great.

Guillermo SThe gasket for the windshield was loose on the truck. It flapped while driving with the distance recorded at 50 mi. Also, the rental location was changed at the last minute even though I had a reservation for a closer location. I was told at the original location that a mileage adjustment would be made since they did not have a truck but the bill reflects otherwise. It is the principle not the money.

Janice FRental 24/7 was the worst experience. The location has bad internet service and it was impossible to check in on mobile. Thankfully the nice owners of the car lot there let me use their wifi. It took 30 minutes to get checked out because they want pics of renters and license, pics of drivers and their license and an additional contact they call to verify you. It was really overkill and it would have been easier to check in with a live person. Checking back in was just as difficult. Would not recommend!!
Sam NNext time you can ask the people at U-Haul where I picked up the trailer not to take a photograph of my son's license plate with their personal phone I did not appreciate that I'm not sure if I was charged for a run on his license tag or not it was not a good experience and you can also tell them as well to learn how to Hitch a trailer we had semi trucks blowing their horns at us on the way back to Anderson South Carolina to let us know that the trailer was throwing Sparks because it was improperly hitched up correctly neither myself or my son did this to U-Haul people did it not happy about this!!
Cachemia SThe car carrier had a broken part when I went to pick it up. I had to drive the truck to the other Uhaul center in Sanford for a good one; wasted an hour of my time. This equipment should be properly inspected and ensure that it is in good working order before being left for customers.

Alfred BLocation lied about the condition of the truck and the gas levels. They also charged us for additional mileage than was granted to is free due to inconvenience we encountered attempting to pickup the uhaul.
