TERESA HI was charged 42.00 for returning vehicle with less gas than it had when I picked it up. I have pictures of before and after proving my point and I'm still waiting for a manager to call me to resolve this. I have proof, I don't know why they make this so complicated.

OSCAR AThis particular U-Haul place on Coronado Avenue at a furniture store is absolute trash. We were charged for 121 miles extra when we actually only did 41 miles when I called to discuss the issue I got zero help she tried saying that she had pictures of the mileage, but she never took them in front of me nor was the truck cleaned before I received it which was fine by me and she did tell me it wasn’t going to be cleaned and it also didn’t have any gas. We had to put gas before we could even begin our move I was OK with all of that but in the end a trip that should’ve only cost $100 cost me 300 unless you want to be ripped off it would absolutely not go to the U-Haul/furniture spot on Coronado Ave in Imperial Beach! Trash!

DANIEL PThe keys for the truck were picked up from the drop box located outside the building, i don’t see how this truck was cleaned by staff before I drove it off the parking lot, I don’t think that it was even inspected so how do I have to pay $25 cleaning fee the truck had graffiti on the passenger side when I picked it up. I took a picture if this is what I’m paying $25 for, I don’t think is fair, thank you
FRANCISCO VThe employees need to do a better job on checking to see who can drive a uhaul and who can’t. Another thing is the employees need to inspect the vehicles a lot better mine was full of rust. Not safe to take out.
KOURTNY TVehicle had no gas management was combative non integral. I spent over an hour and a half trying to close out the return of the vehicle due to charges being added by the rep. The rep indicated that she can make her own rules and policies for things like safe move charges. Was the most stressful experience I've ever had
TAMMI JThey had no idea what they were doing. Took over an hour to complete the process and even then the man had to call his wife several times. Also, I was told one thing and it did not happen the way it was explained to me. Also rented a tow trailer and was called to return it to San Diego even though the truck was a one way rental. Then I was told that I had the equipment until 5:00 pm and the drop off location was calling me at 11:00 am saying that they needed the truck. Had to rent a storage unit just to store my belongings and rush to return the equipment. Overall it was a horrible experience. Very unprofessional. The man at the drop off location was very kind and very professional. D3 auto body, drop off location was great.!!!!
ANTHONY TI was misinformed about the rental. Given it on E filled it with gas got home. Realized the issue, I called corporate. Returned the vehicle. And was given a partial refund and 20 dollars for gas when I put 117.36 into it I would like this to be fixed and me to be contacted about this
JOSHUA GThe 26’ truck I ordered was not working mechanically properly. The check engine light was on, the truck kept on jerking. It wouldn’t go higher than 30 mph while driving up a hill. I ordered a Dolly, which I was charged for but never received it. Still waiting for a refund.
Alfredo ALady couldn’t be bothered from her personal shopping online to check back in my trailer. Told me to drop it and she would check it later. Not great customer service.

Christopher NI’m only commenting on the over all process with U-Haul.com. The process was painful and continues to be painful. I’ve been waiting for a call from someone to share my horrific experience. I guess no one will ever call me.
Debra RThe process from start to finish was painful. Changing locations changing times of pick up and locations for drop off. I had a strict schedule, pay by the hour for a broker to bring my stuff from Mexico. Totally messed up his appt after me. I got my emails and messages in triplicate. It was so overwhelming the amount of calls, emails, messages and advertising. Moving is so stressful. You continued to add to my burden.
Debra RThe service at this location was great. Unfortunately, how I arrived there was not so great. I had reserved a truck at another location, only to be told that there was no truck available when I arrived. Rather than be helped I was just told I could wait around to see if maybe someone would bring a truck in. I then took the initiative to call u-haul and they found me a vehicle at the location I am reviewing. So... good review for this location. Not so good review for the reservation process.

CHRISTOFER SMaribel is the best U-haul merchant I have ever dealt with. She always makes sure the vehicles are clean and that I'm satisfied before we take the trucks. I've rented from her a half dozen time now and won't go anywhere else. I hoghly recommend this location.

Alejandro DLocation is good (had plenty of parking space), unfortunately the truck that was given to me was dirty, to keep prices down I don’t think cleaning all trucks at every use would be the best solution but I think improvements can be made on the pictures that are requested at the end when dropping off your truck, I think U-Haul needs to be more precise on how to request pictures at the end, maybe by showing more examples, requesting key photo angles, requesting not to take pictures on an angle (to prevent not noticing trash/food remains), etc
Jesus VWhen I received the truck gas was just above empty, I took a photo, I then put gas in the truck and returned it filled more than I received, yet I was charged an additional $55 in fuel fees upon return
