I think the a/c needs servicing because it did not seem very cold. Even more important is the dealer at the pick-up location told me that because I purchased the Limited Damage Waiver (LDW) I did not need to document any damage on an inspection form. At the drop-off location I learned that the LDW is void without the inspection form. Thankfully I had no damage or the LDW expense would have been wasted money.

Require all of the information to be submitted online for an online booking. When I arrived to the rental location, I had to provide additional information to the personnel there. I'd prefer input all of my info ahead of time so I can show up, get the agreement printed, and be on my way.

Nothing, the staff were very professional and pleasant to deal with. The truck was clean and ready to go when I got there. The one piece of advice I would give would be to put some wd40 on the truck doors, they were rather squeaky.

I was very disappointed with my U-Haul experience because I called a couple of weeks in advance for a closed trailer since I was traveling from Davenport IA to Salina KS and hauling a mattress and the day before I am to pu the trailer I get a call telling me they don't have one but I can drive 4 hours out of my way and back or I could get one on Sunday. I advised them I am a Realtor and I had an Open House I needed to be at on Sunday at 1:00 so this was very inconvenient. Then I was offered the open trailer in Galesburg IL which the facility was great and I received great service getting it hooked up and the lights working properly before I left.

Evidently the last place I rented from “Raff's Pressure Wash†charged me $57.13 on that rental but nobody can tell me for what. If I hadn't needed the truck so badly I would not have rented it. When the office called to change my truck size I should have been notified at that time. I WILL NOT BE RENTING FROM YOU AGAIN!! That's a very bad way to do business. Ordered my uhaul a week in advanced and 30 mins before pickup they cancelled then tried to reschedule a truck for me three different times but all but the last time fell through. Ended up having to drive all the way to Macomb in the middle of the move to get a uhaul!

It would of been great if I could of rented and returned the U haul from the town I was moving to instead of having to drive almost an hour out of my way to get and return the uhaul! They did give me a break on some of the miles charged but it still was a big inconvenience.

1. The web site is poor. Cannot edit like they claim. I arranged to have the containers dropped off at our house, but the web always said we have to deliver our goods to the U-Haul site, and load there. 2. The latches on some of the containers is a joke. The latch can slide up and down enough to expose the screws, and the screws are short, going into 1/2 particle board. Very easy to have someone break into them. These boxes get transferred to a 3rd party for shipping, so the risk factor definitely goes up. 3. I would have given the local U-Haul site a higher rating, but I was concerned they may not deliver the boxes, since the web site says they won't. I wanted them to sign an agreement that they indeed will deliver them, but they did not want anything in writing. Anyway, they kept their word, and delivered on time. Just made me a little nervous. If the web site didn't specifically say we had to load our stuff at the U-Haul site, it wouldn't have worried me.

Larry at s&l was very friendly and very helpful, i have rented uhauls from him before and this is the only place i will ever rent one from.
