U-Haul was dirty. Brakes need replacing. Workers were nice. Bad area…had to leave my car and was worried the whole time! Tweekers everywhere.

If I had not had my two grown sons with me I would not have waited there. It is not a safe location. The truck had a very loose gear shift that should be repaired.

Robert BI use U-Haul on a fairly regular basis and have never had a negative experience before. The seating area up front and back of the van both had a lot of trash in them when I picked it up. When I returned the van, the person would not go out and look at the mileage with me. He said I would get a receipt the following day. I asked if he wanted to see the photo I took of the mileage and he said no. I was charged for my estimated mileage, NOT the actual mileage. I called the next day and told them, but they still have not credited me the more than $10 they overcharged me. This is also the first time I have ever used U-Haul where they did not have me sign any paperwork or give me any paperwork. Overall, this location is extremely unprofessional.

AURANGZEB AThe truck has lots of mileage already for this long a trip . Also someone smoke a weed or some very strong cigars inside , that gave me huge headaches. Truck had big shaking at the front end . The guy took a truck around his gas station and told me there is no problem! lol I had no choose , and had to take it what they have . Because I hade to move out my house in to different city asap .
Igor VThere was a guy smoking drugs in the parking lot, the customer service was terrible and the owner was very rude. He acted like it was an inconvenience for me to pick up the trailer. He checked the blinkers and break lights but once it got dark we had no running lights at all! He replaced the wiring clip before we left but proceeded to just throw the old one in the bushes behind him while I was standing right there! Once we got to our destination and unloaded the uhaul it had leaked water in the inside onto my chair. First and only uhaul experience and I won’t ever use one again. I will not recommend using this company if this is what is acceptable.
Tamera BI called ahead, and the attendant was dismissive when I asked what the procedure was to leave the truck. He also only took the key from me and didn't say anything. This station was slightly better than the last but still very run down.

DAVID HThe vendor of the U-haul truck I rented was atrocious. Upon entering the store I was asked for my drivers license and the clerk snapped a pic on her cell phone, ON HER CELL PHONE! Is this proper protocol? Hardly. The cab interior was not clean and with the reservation I made I was to rent 6 moving blankets that were non-existent but I could drive and pick them up. You know when you're talking to somebody and they're on the phone and you're waiting for them to end their conversation? Yeah, you guessed it, he continued his conversation and tried to speak with me talking on the phone. After about 10 OK's I asked him to take the phone from his ear and do his job helping me because I got tired of OK. I finally get it out of him the person who does the truck rental gets in at 9:00AM. 30 minutes I return and I get the truck checked in. Do not use this rental quicky mart location EVER!!!

I had a much better experience at the other location on Evergreen Way! Shut this location down and open it somewhere less ghetto and with better customer service.

Roger MI was told I could drop off truck near my home when I reserved at the Brownsville location near my home. When I picked it up the I was told I could drop it add at any U-Haul. Luckily I opened the app before driving to the Brownsville location because the return U-Haul was 20 minutes away. Huge waste of my time with tons of wrong information.

Jerome PTruck wasn’t steering well, and I’m pretty sure fuel gauge was either rigged or broken since it never moved. Lady at the counter tried to intimidate into putting gas by the threatening to charge me even though I told her that the needle was exactly where it was when I picked it up. Im pretty certain I will never rent from this location again. I’ve rented at least 10 U Hauls before and nothing was even close to how bad this experience was.

mandeep sThe location was very convenient for me. The truck was adequately clean, though the windshield and exterior were dirty. The cab was reasonably clean but was much better after I vacuumed it. I drove it 43 miles and put in 9 gallons to fill the tank. Obviously the previous renter hadn't left the tank full. The truck needed a front end job. Steering it straight was an exercise in bouncing between the two lane boundaries.
Nelson JThe floor wasn't vacuumed out. The brakes need service, I believe the pads are worn down, but doesn't stop like it should. Wiper blades need replacing, it's just bare metal and peeling away rubber. Couldn't even clear the washer fluid off the window. If it wasn't a dry day I wouldn't feel safe with the bad brakes and non working wiper blades.

BELAY AI scheduled my uhaul to be a non visit plan. However I had to go into the office and deal with the extremely rude woman behind the counter that told me I have to wait another 15 minutes. When I came back, she would not check me out, but rather told me I would receive the statement in my email. Just a total bad experience.
Cynthia BAttendant wore a hoodie. We thought he was a street bum when we saw him because he didn't acknowledge us until we went into the store next door to ask for help. Then he was mad because we did. There actually were 3 street people there behind the facilities. We are elderly and we're concerned for our safety.

Guilhem LI am disappointed that my location was switched between when I ordered and arrived to pick up without any warning. Not only that, this location was 5 miles away from where I had reserved. Which added 10 miles to my rental. Considering the mileage costs and the fuel costs. That’s a big deal and very disappointing. Not the locations fault. This is a corporate thing.
Timothy PThey overcharge knowing it will take hours to get a refund for the overcharge. Drove 5 miles and put $5 worth of gas in the truck. (A little under a gallon at the time of writing) more than enough to cover the fuel used for 5 miles of driving and no idling of the truck. When the mistake was brought to their attention the clerks got belligerent and accused me of lying about putting the fuel in the truck. They charged me $15 for two gallons of fuel. I had assumed it was an honest mistake on their part but their attitude when it was brought to their attention makes me question their motives. When I asked to talk to a manager I was refused. Do not rent from this location and I would seriously rethink using the whole company.
Steven RWhen I walked in, the people were not willing to help me. The clerks were talking to one another. They did not even acknowledge me, they continued to talk among themselves until they were done. Upon return, they said they would email me the recipt then did not so I had to go back and ask for it again. They were very unfriendly and unprofessional. I will go elsewhere for my truck rental.

SURJIT SUhaul is the worst company to rent from. They were supposed to have a 6×12 trailer reserved for me in Lynnwood and when I showed up after driving clear across Steven's pass to get the truck I reserved (and was supposed to picked up in seattle)Seattle. They didn't have it. So when I went to get this trailer they tried charging $1,000 for a 5x8. Terrible experience. And when I filed an action file they didn't return my call. I will be making a thorough video of everything and post it on YouTube.

Dominick FThis is more reflective of uhaul in general… My reservation for a 15 foot truck was downgraded to a 10 foot(without warning), so I wasn’t able to move all my belongings. I was given “free” mileage And an extra day. However I was moving one way and it was short distance. I was charged the same as for a 15ft. Also, the pickup location was changed (without prior warning). It was supposed to be contactless, but I had to go into business to have my check out completed.

Clayton Hthe people, couple who administrate the process in the gas station treated me unprofessionally. They sounded very rude without respect. They also missed reserve item so I had to request refund when I return the truck. for the return, there was no kind of receipt at the time ore return. they just received key from me and told me to process later in the evening. When I received receipt by email next day, the refund and charge was off. The number didn't match up and I asked them for the clarification on the phone, the lady was very rude and aggressive. They were not able to explain why the numbers are off and I requested the correct refund amount. They told me to come to their location then they will refund me. I don't get it why they don't refund through the system. So I asked them why I have to be there and why don't they refund with the system, then she hung up on me. I don't trust this location for any business. I called U-haul customer service to request the correct refund amount and they issued the refund.
