I had to go to three different locations to return the truck. The third location wasn't the correct address. No only did the guy on the phone give us the wrong address but the address is wrong on Uhaul's website and becuase I was given the wrong address, I ended up getting stuck in the snow. Then I was told to contact roadside assistance so I did and then I was told it would cost me $450.00 - even though I wouldn't have gotten stuck in the snow in the first place if I wasn't given the wrong address or if I was able to drop the truck off at the first or second location I went to. It ended up taking us over 2.5 hours to return the truck! The customer service when trying to return the truck was terrible. I ended up hiring a local tow truck company who came and pulled me out of the snow. I complained and even though Uhaul refunded me for the truck they are not prepared to pay for the tow truck bill. I make another complaint to the marketing department and I am waiting for thier call. Frankly, Uhaul should not only pay for the truck rental, the tow truck bill but they should also give me a gift certificate for $150.00 so I can take my sisters out for dinner after the ordeal we had to go through!

This was an absolutely horrid experience. The address did not match the drop off location when using GPS. Having to navigate to the right location, while driving a U-Haul truck at night, and down a lengthy “one way only” path that is pitch black with poor signage, was intimidating and uninviting. I was scared out of my mind. Then having to actually reverse my SUV down the entire path to exit back onto the road because there wasn’t any space to turn my SUV around. Just all around terrible.
