Unless you notice the U-Haul trucks located behind and at a lower level than the non-descript building on a busy street, there is NO WAY to know this is a U-Haul truck rental location. There is no sign. The building houses several businesses -- none are identified as U-Haul. I finally went in and found a person in one office, who directed me to "Search 1 Media." Yeah, that's really intuitive. Please, put up a sign that says "U-Haul" and tell us WHICH office to go to in the building! It would also help if U-Haul would not send me across Erie from my preferred location to this hidden one, only to find out that this location (one of the few, I'm told, that handles one-way rentals) doesn't really stock blankets. I had to drive up to a nearby U-Haul Center to get my blankets and then return to get my truck. Why not have my truck waiting at the U-Haul Center? Better yet why not arrange to have my truck transferred from Search 1 Media to the U-Haul Center just minutes from my house? U-Haul is not very customer centered. As for the truck, a 15 footer: It was better than I expected. It rode pretty well and didn't handle that badly. I got 11.7 mpg after a 550 mile trip. It had some modern features I wasn't expecting. I could charge my phone with a USB C to USB C cable thanks to the outlet. I'm sure it is for safety reasons, but the lack of cruise control was a bit of a struggle. I can't remember that last time I drove 10 hours with no cruise control. I should point out that U-Haul warns you that the truck is "water resistant not water proof." After driving through very intense rain most of one day, I did find some dampness in the front of "Mom's Attic" (the overhang). It didn't damage anything, but bear that in mind when packing.
