Poor customer service the worker did not know how to do the checkout had to wait 30 minutes for a manager to come in and then she did not do the check out properly. When I asked for a final receipt at the store their answer was oh you'll get one when we get to checking the truck in. When they finally agreed to check the truck in while I was there they tried saying the mileage difference was nearly 20,000 miles when I only had the truck for 2 hours. I still have not received a follow up call or final receipt.HANNAH S.

My pickup reservation was for 10am, I arrived a few minutes after 10am, expecting to receive timely service as I have in all of my previous U-haul experiences. Instead, the only employee at the Section Street Market Gas station told me he was not trained in U-haul yet. So he called his manager to come in and help me. I waited at the gas station for OVER AN HOUR, until the manager arrived. It seemed like she was not well-trained in this process either, and had not yet inspected the truck to see if it was ready. I was already late now to meet my associate for moving at the storage facility, and I didn't have time to do anything more than accept the un-inspected truck and go, despite not knowing whether or not the truck was safe. I feel like the combination of having to wait over an hour at the gas station despite having an appointment made online, and not having the truck inspected prior to me arriving, is unacceptable. I don't feel like I got the service that I paid for, and it is fair that I have this cost refunded. I have been a continuous loyal U-haul customer for many years, and this has been a stand-out poor transaction in comparison to my previous experiences.DANIEL B.

The actual uhaul number that I had to call multiple times for customer service was horrible worst customer service I have ever had.. no help with reservations or questions or explaining anything ( except one nice lady that I was transferred to after asking over 20 times to be transferred )JONI J.

The app was not easy to use and when I called to get assistance I was told by the local site provider that she didn't know anything about the app or how to help. When the app finally updated and allowed me to choose the correct drop off site, I went in to get the key. Then the same employee did not know how to process me in her computer system and had to call for help before she could hand me the key. She finally explained at the end that she had never used the 24/7 part of the program and didn't know how to manage it. Training her would have been helpful.Suzette L.

The drop off location was very unorganized the person at the front didn't seem to know anything about u haul. When I called to verify that the truck was returned she said it wasn't checked in. I kinda panicked and asked her if it was in her parking lot. She put me on hold for almost 10 minutes then when she got back on the phone she pulled up my account and told me it wasn't checked in again. Then she wanted to put me on hold again, I asked her please don't put me on hold again I just want to know what's goin on. She then talked in Spanish to someone next to her and told me the truck was late and the keys were there. I explained my sons friend had to return the u haul and he called me from the parking lot at 945 am and the truck wasn't late she said the truck was due at 10:00 she had to check the cameras and she said I was changing my story. The truck wasn't due back until 10:41 and it was barely 10:30 when we were talking on the phone. I was pretty upset. She said she would call me back. I then called the U haul in Mt Vernon and they forwarded my call to Seattle. I spoke with Leanne agreed to call the drop off and find out what was going on and call me back. She did call me right back and said that it was handled and there would be no late fees. I think this could have been avoided if the 3rd party drop off sight trained there employees on u haul standards. It made me feel like they wanted to cheat me and like they were accusing me of lying, when we did everything right.Matthew S.
The only complaint I have from the rental experience is the distance I had to drive to pick up the truck. It was a long ways from my location. Don't you have uhaul employees who can shuttle trucks to closer locations based on reservations? If that was the case it would have been a very seemless experience.Heidi L.

The cashier had to call her boss to find out what I was supposed to do with the UhaulMatt D.
I was told by the telephone uhaul rep that this was a storefront and as long as I returned the vehicle by 8pm someone would be there to finalize the return. It was a gas station and the attendant just pointed me to a drop box and therefore I ended up paying a $20 connivence fee. Additionally I spent no less than 30 minutes each time I called uhaul and sometimes got transferred multiple times, just to be given incorrect information. Disappointed.Darius S.
