Beware - this place has a computer system that cannot handle rentals. Beware - this place overcharges for a cleaning fee when it is returned clean and swept out. Beware - this place will also overcharge you for gas when you already returned it filled up as when rented.

We reserved a 10' truck, and were sent to the Dreams Banquet Hall business (11106 N 30th St, Tampa, FL 33612), which holds U-Haul trucks. We were scheduled for a 10:30 am pickup, but called there ahead to let them know we would be about 2 hours late, but did not get a response. I waited there for over 2 hours on a very hot day, as the business doors were locked, though the sign said open, and their business hours posted were 9 am to 7 pm. I waited because I thought they were at lunch. I called U-Haul, and they were unable to reach anybody associated with that place. We lost most of our moving time because of this. Everybody else at U-Haul was so helpful, but we were definitely not happy with that location. At least they could have posted a sign that they were closed, and contacted us. By phone, we were then referred to the place on N. Nebraska Ave, which was fine.

If I put the return zip code as different from the pick-up zip code, you should make it more clear that I have to return it to the pick up location if your system determines it that way. I would not have picked it up in that location had I known I was going to have to drive across town to return it

Give correct information so customers do not have to pay an additional $40 for an extra day that they would not have had to pay if you had provided the correct information or a written contract/paperwork. Provide written paperwork with details of the rental. If you say “there will be an email sent to you in a minute” then send the email with the information.

Most deplorable uhaul experience I have ever had. I will be reaching out via email and phone call. This location doesn't even exist. Sure, it's on google maps.. but lucky motors is at 5810 N Nebraska Avenue Tampa 33603... not at 5810 N Nebraska Avenue under the business name lucky motors... so someone is either using someone else's operating name.. or Uhaul is just incompetent in terms of addresses and business names. That is not really my issue to pander over. The fact of the matter is lucky motors is at 5810 N Nebraska not 5916 N Nebraska. So how can you drop off at uhaul at a business not listed to a physical address? You do not. I reached out to the owner of said drop off...and he told me no one there speaks English, to drop it off by the fence, down the alley and leave inside... I've used uhaul.many times and I have never had an experience like this. Mind you, at my pick up location, they said "5916 lucky motors does not exist at all from what we see on our program...but it's on our drop off website @uhaul.com...so it should be ok. It wasn't ok. Do not select this location if you would actually like to be able to stop your truck off.. not drive all over town incurring extra miles and now seeing he is trying to charge me an extra day fee due to their incompotence and also my inability to interpret " go down the alley...there is a green fence, no one that speaks english, leave the truck outside." As actual directions!! I have never done a review of a business as I do not want to negatively impact someone's life and job... but due to the nature of this situation, it needs to be addressed in a world of computer automation. If you cannot perform your job correctly a computer will do it for you.

I was given wrong info by customer service as to where pickup was.I have an outstanding dispute that still is unresolved after 4 emails to your customer service department. Please help resolve the issue

need to check overall maintenance of vehicles before rent out to customers.... there were no head lights and no windshield washer fluids... was late for arrivals due to no headlights to drive at night.

You need to have a dolly for customers to be able to get there items on and off the truck, please and thank you again for everything.

We called and arranged to drop off the trailer at 5916 N. Nebraska which is supposed to be a 24 hour drop off. Turns out, it is not staffed past 6 pm, it was very hard to find the uhaul drop off box (dark one way side street). This is an unprofessional location and I would not recommend it.

The location is way too small for renting and returning a 20ft Uhaul. Dropping it off was a nightmare! It's a small dealership with a lot of cars so the front entrance cannot be used for returning trucks. They don't tell you that until you've already attempted to come in the wrong way. I then had to back out dangerously in traffic on a busy highway to turn back and go down a hidden "dead end" back entrance that was crowded with vehicles everywhere, which made it difficult to park the Uhaul. It was extremely frustrating to deal with after a long day of moving! I would never recommend this location for anyone!

Wow, they were wonderful to work with! We had to postpone our pick up time for 2 hours and even though they had plans to be somewhere else they stayed and took care of everything. I would drive out of my way to use them again. carolp

the truck came in late with only a 1/4 of a tank of gas. made it really hard to put gas in when I was done. I almost put in double what I should have. I got the coverage on the truck because I was told they place where I wanted to drop it off was a 24 hr place. turns out it wasn't

When we first arrived at this location we had to wait an hour and a half for someone to come which put us behind schedule, we we had no choice but to rent the truck for another day. Than when we dropped it off, we filled the tank to exactly where it was when we got it but they still charged us a fuel charge which I didnt think was right. I was to far away from the area to go and complain.
