The tongue jack needed to be lubricated. The tires should be balanced to keep the pulling vehicle vibrations down, was pretty rough when hauling the empty trailer.

My experience with U-HUAL was perfect. The only change I would be not to rely so much on the internet. You lose the personal touch. This is in making the arrangement rent the trailer. The pick up truck as good.

I have been using U-Haul for over 40yrs. I have Never had any issues whatsoever. All locations have Always been welcoming, helpful, very friendly kind employees. The company out of North Branch, Mi. Extremely kind young lady, was excellent , very professional and helpful. And her multitasking skills on spot remarkable. I Highly recommend this location. Truck ran like a dream too.

The truck had a battery that needs to be replaced, and was told U-Haul had been notified but hasn't been out to service the truck yet. The recent didn't print when the truck was returned so I am waiting on an email with the total amount charged to my card.

I originally has reservations to pick up and drop off at a different location. When we got there to pick up there was another uhaul truck in the way and we were unable to get the truck out tha5 we had reserved. The man I spoke with through ubaul told me we could pay for a different truck but wouldn't know if there was a key in the box(it was a sunday) until after we paid. So possibly pay and still have no truck. After over an hour of going back and forth we were told to go to a different location to get the truck. We then had to pay even more because we had to pay for the extra miles and gas for something that was out of our control. The man with uhaul stated he would put in information for management to reach out to me to get a credit on my rental since we had to drive farther. Nobody ever called me back or put a credit towards my bill.

The tire on the car dolly seemed to have a flat spot, so when empty, it causes a jumping motion shaking the pulling truck. It's no one's faut, but possibly, whoever oversees the relocation of the U-Haul trucks dollies ect, could simply move the trailers sitting a bit. Reducing the flat spots on tires keeping them in use longer. Other than that the retailer was informative and polite. Kudos to him.

The truck rented was not performing correctly and would act up randomly. I did not report while we were moving, because now I had 2 problems to deal with and still- within a predetermined time constraint. Although, this truck had problems in 11/2019 as well, we didn’t request any changes to the billing. Why did the truck still have the same problem 2 years later? My only beef with this transaction, really.

After our pick-up location was moved this location, the U-Haul rep from Traffic guaranteed that they would have everything we needed for the move. I call to confirm the truck and the location said they had everything. When we arrived we learned that they did not have 1 moving pad, let alone the 5 dozen we had ordered. I called "traffic" who did a great job in locating 30 pads back at our original pickup location. Hats off to her and the manager at the Lapeer location. She indicated that the manager at the pickup location would contact us and provide some compensation for the issue. That has not happened. U-Haul failed on its guaranty that we would have what we needed.

Reservation was missing additional requested moving material. Trailer was not in working order as the lights on the right side weren't working and the cable attached to the rear door was frayed and broke off door. Was unable to use trailer for majority of reservation.

We walked in a little late for our pickup. One of the two guys behind the counter had a attuite. The guy that checked us out was polite and helpful . Neither came out to help us or even make sure we took the trailer, just gave us the paperwork and that was it.

After renting the car dolly we found out that we have a 4 wheel drive car so couldn’t use it. Call 10 minutes after renting it to return it but was told to bad.

Had no idea that drop off had changed for after hour drop off that’s a big hassle esp when you have driven for hours , unloaded all your household items and just needed to drop off and get back home and didn’t bring my phone with me as I had called and was told just needed to drop off truck and place key in drop box

The truck that I rented was not only very dirty on the inside, it was a safety hazard due to very poor headlights and terrible windshield wipers. In the current state we are all living in with the COVID-19, I would have expected the truck to be thoroughly cleaned after each use. At the end of my trip it had just gotten dark and started to rain. I literally could not see 20’ in front of me. Had to get off of the freeway and take smaller lower speed limit roads as to not be a hazard to other vehicles on the freeway and try to remain safe as well.
