I appreciated the convenience of renting after 5pm. Sadly the van had no airconditioning. I took a photo of the gas gauge which was not full, I took that photo with the beginning mileage at the office. I put in 6 gallons of gas, because I figured I drove 120 miles at 20mpg to figure out how much I used. I filled it to where it was. I only drove 111 miles and they charged me to fill the tank which was not fair at 5.50 per gallon for 2 more gallons. That would have probably filled the tank, but the tank was not full. I showed them the photo of the gas gauge with the mileage when I dropped off the uhaul and gave them the gas receipt but they still charged me to fill the tank. I drove that van back for an hour with no air con while the sun was searing my legs on the south side of that van I drove. I would appreciate a credit back for my gas of $11 because I have rented vans for many years from Uhaul and usually the tank is full which makes it easier to replace the gas this time I was more than generous as I imagine the van only gets 16 mpg and I only went 111 miles and I did pay for the gas I used as well as put the gauge back to where it was. It is not my responsibility to fill a tank that was not filled. Do you not agree? I need to rent another same size van again in August. The price of renting a van is inexpensive but the mileage is very high and this time I need to do a round trip of 150 miles and if the van is not full I won't be filling that tank either. So I really need to trust you that I will be credited that $11 for gas you just charged on my credit card please. Thank you Sorry I was fair and honest and took photos.
