I was charged for items never ordered or used in moving van, even after returning with more fuel than required too. Dispatch changed size of truck and location of pick up and at a cost that benefits UHaul and not customer. I'll never use UHaul again, bad all around experiences with multiple locations in the same weekChance B.

The reservation system is horrible!! I reserved on line weeks in advance at a specific location in Sonora, CA. I received a phone call confirming my reservation the day before my scheduled pickup. But the caller failed to mention the location of my trailer. When I arrived in Sonora they had no knowledge my trailer. It was located in Valley Springs, an hour away. It took me 4 hours to pick up a trailer that should have required 15 minutes. HORRIBLE!Steven B.

Traveled to this location to pick up an auto dolly because another location was out. They helped me get it all hooked up, only to find one of the tail lights was out. They did some troubleshooting and got it repaired for me on site at no charge and I was on my way fairly quickly. Very much appreciated.Jordan G.

My reservation continued to get changed. I had to drive 25 miles out of the way to pickup the truck, and go back to the location I had booked to pick up the utility dolly. Return was reserved in Gardenerville, NV, but was told I had to drive it to South Lake Tahoe for the return which was 29 miles in the wrong direction.Elizabeth M.
We had nothing but issues picking up our uhaul from this location. We first notified that we would be late picking up and they still have our uhaul away to another family because we didn't arrive on time. We then had to call uhaul and get that sorted out, after driving close to 2 hours to pick it up. We got our truck back and then it was time to pay. I can't tell you how many times we had to restart the purchase because the woman at the computer wasn't inputting info correctly. We also were never given instructions that we had to take photos of the odometer and enter milage to check the truck in when we drop off after hours. We had already dropped the key in the box, so we weren't able to get back in to do so. So we weren't able to check out truck in as returned. I had to call uhaul late at night after a day of moving and wait on hold for close to 30 minutes so I could let them know what happened.Emily A.

You could have better equipment here... I got the worst possible trailer available!! The door stuck twice, my trailer was broken into, it didn't sit parallel to the ground instead it tilted forward... it was so freaking dirty and over priced!! Not to mention I had to drive 45 minutes out of my way to get the piece of junk instead of around the corner as originally planned... this wasn't even a uhaul it was an ACE store! Sales guy was great until I realized he forgot the dolly I paid for!!! Horrible, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND UHAUL TO ANYONE FOR A TRAILER!!!Shaunnetta B.

We waited over 10 minutes before anyone came to the customer service desk. A lot of employees were walking by that didn't care until one employee finally asked for customer service for us. Couple before us was waiting 8 minutes before we got there.Vina B.
Ordered truck rental online, added moving blankets and paid 116.00 . I checked my cart, truck and blankets only. I figured there was a deposit I would get back once I returned truck. When I picked up truck was asked for payment of 84 dollars. I was confused as I thought all fees were paid. I used truck for 12 miles and about 3 hours . I returned truck, no refunds given. U haul sent me an email stating they shipped my moving supplies. Was confused because I didn't order any supplies, only blanket rental. I made a large poster for fed ex to NOT DROP OFF THESE PACKAGES BUT RETURN THEM. First truck ignored sign and left a huge box anyways. I called fed ex to intercept boxes and return them. They sent a driver out the next day to pick up box they left. What a headache. I am still trying to get a refund however they have not responded yet. I really don't see how they are getting away with this mess. So far I'm out a lot of money for a 39 dollar rental truck I used 3 hours and 12 miles. I will NEVER order online from Uhaul again.Annette M.

The truck had been dropped off and key thrown in drop box without staffs knowledge this was reason for equipment not clean. However staff gave me option to wait while cleaned or return in same condition. Staff was awesome as always !!!! Always a great experience with this locationDaniel Q.

After reserving the trailer at another location, I received a call from uhaul stating that the trailer was not available at my requested location. This caused an extra two hours drive on my trip. Unfortunately this is the second time this annoyance has happen causing me to look elsewhere when in need of any trailers. I am unsure why this company would give me the opportunity to reserve a trailer at a location with plenty of time in advance and require me to drive elsewhere to pick it up. I will not recommend Uhaul to any friends or family for their moving needs.David H.

This was a horrible experience and I will never go to that uhaul again. I had to drive 80 miles round trip to get a uhaul somewhere else because I was reassigned to another location without my knowledge and that is not right. I am very disappointedKishana B.

The people and place I rented from were superb. The complaint that I have is your on line reservation process that really needs correcting. When I went to the field of rental times, the latest it said that I could return the trailer was 415pm yet the store is open until 7pm and will readily take the trailer back until 530pm. An extra hour is a big deal! You should correct the times that the store is open or have people simply go to Senders so not to be confused with this. Again, Senders is a great place with great people representing U Haul!!!steve W.
Is it the sole responsibility for the customer to clean the vehicle after each use. If so there should be a person when checking back in to at least recheck and clean the windows regardless of the amount of grimeMARIO V.

Truck rented at 3/4 gas, returned slightly below 3/4, was charged for gas being at 5/8 instead of something closer to the 3/4; was charged 20+ dollars instead of the 5.25 gallon I anticipated.David A.

They would not hook up our car to the tow dolly. All of the other locations we have ever used either did it for us or we had the option to pay to have it done. My husband has a bad back and he was in a lot of pain after trying to figure out how to do it. They also forgot our blankets and we had to ask for them. If it wasn't for spending an hour hooking up our own car then we would have drove off without them. Did we mention we had to drive 2 hours round trip out of our way a day early to pick up the truck since there were no other locations with a truck available and we were not compensated for the extra gas we had to pay for a huge expensive truck.
