Everything was perfect! Truck was ready to go when I got there to pick it up, the paperwork process was the fastest I have ever seen, usually you wind up waiting for some reason, but not at Senders in Valley Springs, Ca. Super nice people, explain everything very well. In and out in under 10 minutes!Lisa G.

Make sure the equipment is ready to go and that what the computer says you have is accurate. Running lights didn't work, one tire was flat and one was bald. Diana tried to give me a different trailer but it couldn't be found. Then found one at another location 45 away which I rejected due to distance and direction. Diana then called uhaul to have someone repair the tires. After about an 1.5 hours I was on my way. Found out after I left the running lights didn't work even after the person that hooked them up said the lights all worked. Everyone was very friendly and helpful but with better check in and check out procedures this wouldn't happen.Ray C.

There seemed to be only one person who knew how to run the uhaul counter. It took abt an hour to get the truck. Then the system went down & no one could get into the system.DEBRA H.

Picking up was smooth and easy. Associate was kind and courteous. However when I returned the truck , that turned out to be embarassing degrading and humiliating. I will NEVER do u haul business there again. I saw that the truck floor was dirty, the overall truck was not very clean. I noticed stuff in the floor behind the seat. I really didn't check it out real good because I was only going to have the truck for a short time. I went by my machanics, parked on cement not dirt, he was doing some maintenance on my car.Went to stockton for lab appt, parked on a black top parking lot. Went to my grandsons in valley springs parked on gravel. At no time did I park in dirt and track it into the truck! I had a bottle of water, a soda in a cup with a straw wrapped in paper and that's all. I was in a hurry because my mechanic was waiting outside to pick me up. When I gathered my purse, i was holding my cup of soda, my hands were full i left the water bottle in the truck didnt even think about the straw paper. The z associate told me she had to check the gas and mileage. She was gone long enough that I started wondering what is she doing. When she returned she said you need to get your trash out of the truck or you will be charged a ,$25. Cleaning fee. I said you got to be kidding for a water bottle and straw wrapper, all the while thinking about the condition of the truck when I rented it. She continued to say you have trash in tneir. I asked like what? She said the cup and I don't remember if she said more stuff in the back then she said there's seeds I believe she said in the console, she has pictures of it, which I didn't see, I needed to go. Then the kicker.....she said the truck is dirty and has trash in it. " you can take the broom and sweep it out and get your trash out and you won't be charged the cleaning fee" I to!d her I'm not doing any of that you can charge me and I will never do business with them again regarding u haul and as you can see on tbe invoice i was charged!!!! This was all done in a public setting in the store. Anyone close by could have heard the conversation. I felt dirty, like a nasty individual. I didn't appreciate it one bit. I'm 76 years old and to be talked to like that, and acuse me for the condition of the truck, not believing anything I said and to continue to stress the condition of the triuck and the cleaning chg....really great customer service. I'm battling malignant melanoma. I couldn't have cleaned the truck if I wanted to. If I was guilty of this I would have been more than happy to do what is right. I'm guilty of leaving a water bottle in the cup holder and a straw paper in a tray on the door not thrown in the floor, seat etc. If you want to reach out to me my number is 2094915462. The reservation process and continual pickup location changes were beyond bothersome. The agents over the phone were not helpful and sometimes disrespectful. The reservation thru final pickup location confirmation was the most stressful part of our entire move. U haul must invest in training over the phone agents. The truck was ready and gassed up but the front of the truck and the windshield were covered in bugs. The blankets that we reserved were not available and doing the cell phone checkout with downloading pictures was difficult because of poor cell service in the area. The experience was not the best, but it got the job done.Robert M.

Your system needs work. U haul tried to charge me for 2 days when I just rented it for 1 day. The folks at ace tried to correct it, but the u haul system would not let them change it. It took 45 minutes to correct this. It was only resolved thanks to the people at ace, not u haul.CRAIG M.

The U-haul IT equipment at this location was not working and it took a half hour just to get the trailer rented. Then they never gave me the moving 6 blankets that I was charged for. Upon turning in the trailer they told me they were missing two equipment Dollie's and 24 blankets. But the gal credited my account for the over charges. Uhaul changed my pick up location without my knowledge or consent the day before my pickup. The new location was a 1 hour drive away. Fortunately the location I picked was able to sort it out and get me a local trailer. But that moment of stress of needing to travel was unacceptable and if the location hadn't been able to locate a trailer my travel plans would have been delayed by a day over that 2 hour round-trip commute to the changed locationTREVOR M.

not sure why i was told to return here when there is a U haul location 15 miles closer. it was hard to find and there was no signage indicating that the ace hardware was a uhaul drop off. there was also no signage when you walked into the store. the person who helped me was not very knowledgeable, didnt explain to me what they were doing. after she went and checked the milage i was told i went over and had to pay 15 dollars. had i not had to drive 20 miles out of my way i would have not been charged the 15 dollars.CHRISTOPHER R.

Customer service was poor at best. The bigger issue was with the Uhaul company itself rather than the location. Uhaul changed my pickup location twice, the 2nd change the day before I needed the truck. The change in location caused me to drive an extra 147 miles for which Uhaul will not cover. I was reimbursed $50 for the change in a confirmed pickup location. But it did change 2 times! Very poor form Uhaul, very poor.SALLY K.

I was lied to about the availability of the auto-transport be available in Pioneer. I had to travel an hour and a half out of my way to get the equipment. This set my whole trip to be late and stressful. You are a dishonest company in your way of doing business.Pete T.
