Ask the customer the mileage they plan on going . I usually use Carrolls in bridgeville and they are great! They ask u the mileage you expect to go and the rate is based on that. I was only given 30 miles and didn’t realize this was different than carrolls so I ended up spending way more money!!

Had to call U Haul customer service line to complete my truck return. The people at return place were rude and uncaring, I understand that U Haul had a major computer outage across nation that day, however the people at return drop center didn't tell me anything so after an hour I call the U Haul customer service center. The customer service center was any to compete my return

Training and fix bugs in the UHAUL app. Representative ignored me at the counter (scrolling through her phone) for approximately 90 seconds. Equipment was unclean and the app would not allow me to submit photos of the unclean vehicle, but also wouldn't complete the check-in process unless I did...or said "yes" to vehicle cleanliness question. Representative on-site had no idea how to assist me with the app nor getting resolution on equipment cleaning. I called customer service and, thankfully, Madysun effectively assisted me and got me on the road. Experience at the location was abysmal. Experience with customer service call center was excellent!

I went to the place I was assigned to pick up my trailer, and they did not have my reservation. And they told me that sometimes they switch locations and don’t let them know. So I had to go to a different location to pick up my trailer. And when I picked up my trailer, they didn’t even have the right hitch size, even though I entered it in correctly on the computer. And when they gave us the trailer before we found out it didn’t work, they just sent me out to go do it myself. They had nothing to help lift the trailer nor did they offer any help. They actually had to flag down a man on a bicycle after I requested help, because there were no maintenance men in the area. We took a truck instead of a trailer, but it did change our plans. I just feel like a company should have a little bit more organization than it did.

Mileage for my one way rental was insufficient. They said they could not modify my contract to add more mileage. The drop off place said they could have. Not sure why they felt they couldn't help. 40 miles took me from their place to the supposed drop off place with no extra mileage. A person typically rents to go pickup their goods at another location to drop off at another location. I should have received at least another 25 miles to give me some leeway to pickup and dropoff my belonging from one storage unit (not the pickup of truck) to my drop off at another storage unit (where I ended up leaving the truck). Also, when I made my reservation the site would not allow me to drop off at a location where I had a storage unit reserved. That option was not allowed, yet they rent Uhaul trucks. Please teach these people how to modify a reservation when it makes sense.

This is the third time I have written. Truck cab was filthy. Left rear tire was flat - Location would not replace with another truck and could not fix tire. I found a location with free air and filled the tire. Back of the truck was full of dirt and had to be cleaned out before I would load furniture. This U Haul location did nothing.

Vehicle was not swept properly. I had to sweep the vehicle before return. Also process is complicated for a new person to rent via self service. Almost all locations in the area were closed on Sunday. Mostly people need these vehicles on weekends.

We did not get the location confirmed on line. When we went to the new location, they didn't even have a 26' truck for us. They gave us a smaller truck that someone did not show up for yet. WILL NEVER BOOK ON LINE AGAIN.

The people that worked in the location was very rude & unprofessional. Poor customer service. I will never use this location again. They also told me they didn’t have the size truck I wanted & it was right there. Then to get my rental and the tire light was on. I had to get out in the cold air to add tire. That should’ve been done. They act like they was paying for the uhaul. A waste of money

The locations in Seaford (and Georgetown Rt 113N) are borderline -acceptable. What has happened to credible businesses? Anyway, I had to travel to Georgetown for the 15ft truck, and those mes counted against my overall rental! I'm thankful to rent what was needed but the cost is crazy.
