I put fuel in the tank it was 3/4 when I picked it up and I put $15 in and that brought it to 7/8 of a tank why am I charged $14 to put gas in Where’s my refund

COURTNEY CWorst experience ever. The location owner wasn't present during business hours because they had to watch hockey with their son and left the entire place empty. We had to result to doing the return with the app, which was shitty, and in the end, the dropbox location was difficult to find.
MUSTAPHA BWhen I went to pick up the trailer I rented, the jack was broken and did not receive any help to fix it.
MITCHELL CLock for the key box was almost seized solid causing about 20 minutes of attempting to open it, the truck I rented had less than 1/8 of a tank of gas before I left with it and procedures for returning the truck are ridiculous. I might as well be a U Haul employee since I did all the work on this rental. Will never rent from a remote location like this again.
Ted VThe guys at Seven Auto in Breton Ontario were excellent. They were friendly, kind and very helpful. Our trailer ball was frozen to the trailer when we returned it. The guys from Seven Auto graciously worked on it to return our hitch and were successful. I will use U-Haul again and again for hockey tournaments from now on ! 6 out of 5 stars for Seven Auto.
Jason HI booked the truck for October 31st 7 am, from Newmarket. The day before I was informed that I need to pick the truck up in Beeton. I took a $35 uber and arrived before 7. The 24/7 app was not working, so I called for assistance. I was informed that the truck was not ready and I would need to wait until 8 for the business to open. I sat in the middle of nowhere, in the cold and dark and waited. I had booked movers (through uhaul) for 8-11. They could not change the time. So by the time I got the truck and got home it was 9. I was able to get an extra hour (they stayed until 12) but I had to pay. So I paid for 4 hours but only benefitted from 3. This was the most stressful move .

JAMES FSeven automotive was awesome to deal with but I have a sour taste in my mouth after u haul changed my pickup location 24 hours before pickup and then cancelled it the morning of without notifying me. I was left scrambling calling u haul trying to track down another truck which doesn’t seem like it should be my responsibility as I made the reservation a month in advance.

Doug JMy issue was not with the site due to this being a mobile pickup. The concern was with the set up of the reservation and this was by phone. The site was mobile pick up and I told them twice. When I went to pickup, I had to contact customer service again and help to fix the problem. I got this resolved after one hour.

ANDREW SMy truck was not at the requested location. Less than 24hrs prior to pick up I was informed it would be at this location and that in person was not an option despite requesting in person. Arrived on time and used the app to find no truck was ready at all for me. Spent over half and hour waiting to talk to someone. After 45 mins finally got a truck that was larger than requested and I was charged the extra for a truck I didn’t need. Very poor experience. Then they are trying to charge me for the kilometres that I had to drive the truck from the new location to where it was supposed to be in the first place. Very unimpressed.
Malcolm GBecause we had battery issues we did not want to stop, as such we did not top up fuel. We called Uhaul priormto dropmoff explaining the situation and they indicated they put a note to file to avoid further fuel charges but yet we were still charged.

Leanne MI had ordered the truck online and when my employee went to pick up the unit U-Haul had added extra charges for some sort of insurance that I did not want. My company has their own insurance that covers any issues. Not happy with the billing.

Greg MI was advised to return the vehicle with the fuel back to where it was when I picked it up. Many of the reviews I read before booking with Uhaul commented that they were charged for fuel even though they had returned the vehicle full. With this in mind, I returned the truck with the fuel gauge needle reading higher than when I started yet I was still charged for fuel. I chose Uhaul because of it's proximity but in the future I will drive further to avoid giving Uhaul my business.

David LThe web page was a complete disaster. On my android it would not do location services at all. It would not bring up location request. On my wife's iPhone it would not work properly either. It It wasn't for the very helpful women on the phone I would not have been able to pick up the truck after hours because of the poor functionality.

GREGORY SAlthough this is the new thing to do everything online. This was the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul 4 hours trying to get this truck as the persons with the lock box code seemed to be giving us the wrong code. 4 hours to finally get into the truck. U-Haul was my biggest stressor for this move.
Dale EThe location called SEVEN AUTOMOTIVE..located 2763 10th sideroad Beeton Ontario L0G1A0 SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED AS A U Haul vendor. For the following reasons. The online check in process for pick up could not be done as the location did not show up on U HAULS GPS.Had to call U HAUL international in order to complete the pick up process. It took over 1 hour to complete the check in as the locks would not respond to the codes given. They were hard stiff and were rusty. The lock box for the keys were so high up reach..thank God there was a rickety chair to stand on.. we are tall and could not reach. The U HAUL representive gave 2 codes for 2 locks. Neither woul open. We were on a time frame to get to our destination which was 6.5 to 7 hours drive. With all of this we were VERY VERY LATE getting to our destination. Very frustrating when UHAUL could NOT /locate the dealer..Three of us set our phones as described and no go...in addition this location was closed on the Saturday. Our suggestion when getting a UHAUL truck check that the dealer is not in a remote location in the event this happens. The lock box needs to be accessible and not up a extremeky high and locks are maintaind and easy to operate. Make sure you go to a dealer that is open on the same day you are picking up the truck in case there are issues. Customer service was helpful..and returning the truck was a breeze. I believe it was important to express in detail what happened. Hope this review helps.
Anthony SThe mobile app was awkward and hard to use and nothing worked as it should. The staff that helped me work through the app issues were fantastic. Another horrible issue was the fact that the parking lot was not plowed and the van got stuck immediately is likely an act of god, but could have been cleared by the the owner of the shop the truck was parked as many plows were out clearing snow that morning. After spending roughly 2 hours trying to get the keys out of the tiny lock box and another hour or so trying to push a van out of the snow with my daughter that I will never use U-haul. I will be passing this experience on to my friends and family. Thanks for listening to my rant.
Chris MThere was a lot of confusion on the online app. It had two different locations listed as my rental was updated via phone conversation but not reflected in the links provided. The online registration did not upload my required documents, and I needed to spend over a half hour on the phone to fix all these issues before I could leave with the rental. **Positive - the agent over the phone was great!** When booking, due to availability, I was offered a 10' truck in lieu of the cargo van I had requested and was told the mileage per km would remain at the cargo rate- This was not reflected in my invoice and I was charged $1.11/km instead of the .69/km I was told. I was also charged a fuel surcharge at $1.75/L for returning it minutely below on the gage as to where I received it.

junyan zAfter the last experience I would not rent an autotransporter defective with only one side that was functional I almost lost my personal vehicule.very dissapointed with the service made me go to Breton when all the equipment was available in Wasaga beach.
