Made a reservation to pick up trailer in the am. Got there and the lady told me they canceled my reservation because I wasn't there with a half hour so I told her that's why I made a reservation, so I can preorder it and pick it up at my convenience. Then she charged me for insurance and I asked her to remove it that I didn't want the extra optional insurance and she told me that it was mandatory at her store and if I wanted to rent from her I had to pay for it(this has never been the case anywhere else I've rented uhaul, the customer always has the choice) also when I picked up the Trailer, it still had hay in it from the previous renter. All in all I enjoy renting uhaul equipment when I need it but I feel I did not have a good experience with this location and will go somewhere else in the futureEDWIN JESUS L.

I asked for 8x12 couple weeks ahead of time..and was given 8x4 by a very abrasive person by the name of Linda Valdez ( Turlock, CA - Lander Avenue). Not friendly like the person frm McHenry Avenue inModesto, CAJAMES C.

My only comment is when I booked reservation for pick-up time that I choose, when I arrived to get trailer the business was closed for lunch! Suggestion that U-haul should block that time and not inconvenience the customer for that hour.Daniel L.

I think its was a little expensive for doing a in town move and renting it for 1 day. Plus I put a little extra fuel in as well just to make sure didn't get charged extra.DAVID C.

I was not expecting to be charged for insurance, and was not asked if I wanted it, $14 just appeared on my bill. The truck was not very clean in the cab, the wind shield or the interior area. The process was efficient, but the vehicle could have been presented better to the next customer.NORMA G.

We would recommend Sew Creative for all U-Haul needs. The owner and employees at Sew Creative were really kind to us. The cold night we brought back the rental after hours the owner was locking up. He and a kind employee saw us and happily reopened the gate and took care of the return. They both were surly late getting home but they didn't rush us or act put out by the change in their plans. Uhaul over the phone set me up with a discounted price. When I arrived the business had no idea about it and wanted more money . When I was using the truck a d trailer to move out of state the truck was over heating and the trailer chains wouldn't stay in place . After driving it back to the town I lived out of the drop off location charged my card for something I had already paid for days prior. I'm still going through disputes and uhaul is not willing to help with this double charge . There's ZERO communication between the companies who have the trucks and trailers and uhaul themselves . This was a mess of a deal and a bigger headache then it should've been . Moving is already stressful and the last thing anyone needs is more BS added to the struggle . I do not recommend uhaul, not ever again will ever be using this service .Alfred C.
I rented a trailer for 2 days and I was supposed to have it back by 11am I was running an hour late and I got a call from the agent saying I was late so I asked if I could rent it for another day but the Uhaul agent said that I couldn't because they had it reserved for 12:30pm, so we drove the trailer back and was there at 12:10pm but they were at lunch until 1pm and nobody would answer the door or phone. So I ended up dropping the trailer myself and then left. When I got my receipt in the email I got CHARGED for another day. So here's how I would improve, 1. DON'T call people and tell them they have to bring the trailer back and not be there when they do. 2. DON'T tell customers they can't rent trailer for another and then charge them for that day.David A.

Truck was dirty, not just dirty, but DIRTY. We needed to sweep out the truck and 'attic' before we could put our stuff in. The cab was also dirty. The windshield needed to be washed. This is not what I expect from UHAUL.Robert N.
