EMAN MThe van was covered in sap which made it very sticky. And leaves were stuck to the windshield which took a lot of effort to clean off. The guy who was in charge of the pickup did not seem very conversant with procedure and changed the rental agreement, told us that we couldn't have two drivers registered which was incorrect and meant my friend had to drive the entire way to Winnipeg and back. He also changed the agreement and put it in my friend's name with his email and phone number. I finally managed to download the app and change the email so I could receive information but now the app is useless to me as it has my friend's name and phone number and my email in it.. And he overcharged my VISA by $1,000 which was eventually returned but caused me some issues.

Shirin SThe van had pretty obviously been used to transport some sort of animals (dogs, maybe a tiger…?) and that animal had clearly peed (like a lot) on the inside of the van. I was assured that it was “a little messy” as the previous client had returned it late (perhaps their exotic animal deal had taken longer than anticipated?) I was in a hurry so I agreed to take the van on a verbal agreement that I wouldn’t be charged extra for cleaning as I was taking out a dirty vehicle. It wasn’t until a few blocks later that the whole effect of the piss smell assaulted my nostrils. I did a quick scrub of the inside of the van once I got to my pickup location, but this still cut into my rental time by a fair amount. Upon returning the van I was assured (verbally, I should have gotten it in writing) that in consideration for the extra time I spent cleaning I wouldn’t be charged for the fuel I burnt. And that turned out to be a lie. The charge showed up anyways. I’m too tired to fight for the couple dollars. But know that you’ve got a pretty dissatisfied customer and I certainly won’t be recommending U-Haul to anyone anytime soon.
Matt SAll good. The only surprise I got was the credit for bringing the truck back with more gas than I took it. I will definitely use Seylynne Mart U-Haul again and recommend them to friends.

Nicholas BThe truck was disgusting. So much dog hair, old dog hair stock everywhere looks like it was never cleaned. Our clothes were cover with the white dog hair. Also, candy and chocolate wrappers, old tissue.. disgusting The outside was so dirty that we had to check every dirty spot to make sure it wasn’t a real scratch

Sontaya BRefrain from referring customers to dealerships that lack basic customer service : Van was the dirtiest I have ever seen (I have pictures) and we could still find rotten remains of food in the cup holder and seat No walkthrought Wrong tank level (the dealer said it is full but it wasn't so I had to come back) The dealer took the damage waiver and told me it was a total waiver but when I asked about the deductible and read the terms, he told me he had already checked me in and will rectify tomorrow when I return the car, which he did not and told me to call customer service In brief, a very bad experience!!

Medoune Nput contact numbers on the window or door after the mart is closed, so customer can call someone to open the gate to the private under parking to return the truck. Or restrict return time according to the mart's open and close hours, so customer doesn't have to call in customer service to explaining about the returning at the different location to avoid the extra service charge

Won LWe booked movers through the moving help .com linked to your website. They never showed up and there was no contact from them. The uhaul group at Main st. Location in North Van informed me that the charge had been reversed. As two seniors, we had to move two stoves by ourselves. We had ordered an appliance dolly and it was not there as well at the Seylynn rental location, so we had to drive to the Mainstreet location and fill out paperwork and pay money to rent another dolly. When we questioned moving help.com they never acknowledged the mistake or apologized for the error. It was a very stressful.experience. we will never book movers through that app ever again.
julie LThe extra insurance cost of $16 was added to my contract even if I reclined it. After location is closed, there is no street parking for over 2 hours close by. I wanted to leave the vehycle there after hours but parking is not available. The underground parking requires a key to open the gate, which I was not provided.

Brian TThere was used underwear and clothing in the uhaul when we went to pick it up. We got yelled at by the security guard of the parking garage. We had to personally dispose of the clothing and underwear to avoid being in trouble with the security guard. We would like to receive a discount for the inconvienience. Can provide pictures if necessary.

Mirko SPick up was for 9am, nobody was at the pick up and then the U-Haul messed up the reservation twice and it took two hours to start. We were promised 50 dollars off and were still charged full price. I would never recommend this to anyone.
Rachelle WI selected in the App the Main St main location, it took me to this place, no late return, parking spot very limited, not able to do the on-line inspection and return because of no signal within the building. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE having a big experienced place 2 blocks away.
ZACARIAS HThis location required the renter to back out the cube van from a very tight spot (3 inch clearance from post on side) and back up to a wall with an overhanging low roof sign. To add this, the staff never offered to assist with backing out the van or even to guide me while backing out. Resulted in sign being knocked off. Very unprofessional.
Dean SYou need to take out the uHaul to be able to take photos or look around as there's no space in the underground parking. The fuel gage will be different from the parking lot to the street at the back where you can get out and take photos and inspect the truck due to angle of the underground. Should be mentionned.
Frederic Bamazing staff, amazing service, would definitely use this location again. it was the only one that had a box truck and, after the service i received, will only use this location (even though it is further away from my home than other locations).

Dmitry FWe returned the vehicle after 20 miles, we already put gas in it for the amount that we used. After the representative told us that everything is good and we can leave, we got an email that they over charged us more than 15 dollars fuel sur charge. We called and talked to the manager, he rudely replied: you need to call uhaul. I told him that we have pictures and he said it’s not his responsibility to take care of this. This is day light rubbery.

Behrad RI picked up the uhaul with a half flat tire. The uhaul dealer said it was not the tires and a dash issue. I checked the tires and I the back left was significantly lower then rest. Upon reaching customer service, I was lied to and told there was no issue and upon requesting for the mechanic records, uhaul customer service changed their response saying the tire was low. This is unacceptable and unsafe. I’m still in communication with them and it’s a waste of gas to drive over 100k on an essentially flat tire
