I had to call and get help 3 different times in an hour. The truck wasn’t available where I was first set to pick it up, which made it so inconvenient for me. Also in the first 2 calls to the 24 hour pick up I don’t get informed that I have a balance from 2016.. That delayed me because no one knew why I couldn’t do check in. It was just not a very good experience, and when I had to drop truck off at 2 am the app kept kicking me out making it more difficult to do the return.. I am very disappointed that a 6 hr truck rental turned to 8 hrs and 2 of them were wasted by being on phone trying to figure out why I couldn’t proceed to check in.

These trucks move around so I am not sure they deserve any credit for the good condition of the vehicle. I only requested one extra item, a half dozen padded blankets. They were not in the truck when I picked it up. That’s a big deal for a mover, especially when they are picking up early in the morning from a truck share location and there is no one there to solve the problem.

At U-Hauls request we were directed to a self drop location. We were never told there would be no one to help us, the self drop link provided by them didn’t t work and we had to finally call to return the truck over the phone. Never again, we will always return to an established U-Haul location.

I do not know if this is something you can improve or Verizon’s cell service can but it was awful. It made it impossible to upload photos and make it quick and easy. Took 20min to get the truck and another 20 to return it.

The app for 24/7 pick up and drop off was down and caused a delay with both times of pick up and drop off. Other than that everything else was fine.

The whole 24/7 should be nice and I only rate this location average because it’s not monitored by anyone and it’s totally up to the customer to use the app. It’s no fault of this site, they keep the truck clean and area is clean and safe, it’s totally on U-Haul and the app experience that I would love to just give 0 stars. If this site converted to budget or Penske I would be back every time, however as long as it is U-Haul I will avoid all U-Haul for all future business. The app had issues and asked for private info, required using only the app camera that wasn’t the same as the video and the app didn’t allow some uploads the first time where it tried charging cleaning fees which I had to go back and do all over again to avoid fees. The .89 per mile is outrageous especially after comparing to others and the customer service from chat and call center was underwhelming. The individual I spoke to became testy and just wanted to transfer me to another site instead of make sure if we could use the current truck for our needs. It took way too long to use the app and I about left and gave up initially, then it took too long on drop off also. I also could not capture all the vehicle details upon leaving as the app errored and checked out the truck before I was ready, then customer service said I could not go back… if the fuel was lower I should have been able to select that along with any conditions of the truck but it was locked on checkout so I would have been responsible for gas if it was lower and anything else. Good thing the truck was in good order and gas was full as expected. I suggest the ceo go try to check out a truck and see just how frustrating it is… I’m all for digital but in this case I’m all for human interaction, or at least a better app. Regardless, your prices are too high. I don’t plan to return.
