REX BWe were told at our drop off location that the truck should've never left the lot. I was not aware it needed to be bone clean and no cracks in the windshield. Then we get charged for that on the other end

Leshanda SI was late returning truck so nobody was at location. I had been asked once before to return truck to Sherwood. I didn't look at address when said I would change from dealer much closer I thought it was probley the same one as before. Drop off location was much further away and in a not good area to be leaving one alone

THOMAS CThe local workers were excellent, but after renting 2 units for over 14 months, we moved out of one on the 3rd of the month & was told UHaul doesn’t give you a credit for the part of the month you’re not in the unit. So, we paid over $200 for 3 days of use for the unit we moved out of. I will let all my customers i deal with on a daily basis, to use ANYONE else other than UHaul. When the company i work for has to rent a vehicle, we WILL NOT be renting from UHaul.

NOAH MThe truck we were given had a faulty steering wheel. When the steering wheel was in horizonal alignment (with the center part of the wheel/horn in horizontal position, proper position to hold the wheel at 10 and 2 o'clock) the truck veered off course. When the steering wheel was turned 90 degrees from horizontal, (the center bar vertical) the truck went straight. This is a safety hazard and should have never been rented in this condition. My driver did not complain about it when he drove it off the lot. I was really furious that the property owners thought renting a truck in this condition was ok.
Tonya TI ordered an appliance dolly that was critical for my move. There was no appliance dolly in the back of the truck. I had to wait until they opened the office to inquire about this, I was disappointed again when they didn’t have any available. I was told the other Sherwood store has one so I asked to rent that one. Drove all the way there to wait 25 minute line just for them to tell me they don’t have one and it was never rented for me. Disappointed and frustrated I had to go buy my own appliance dolly from Walmart. The Dolly was a critical part of my moving, as I cannot move a refrigerator, washing machine, or dryer without it.

KIMBERLA VAs the equipment was clean, yet the ramp was missing a stopper.. (the Mechanic reported) when he arrived to fix it. It fell out while we were unloading, thankfully he was able to come and fix it and it took around an hour. Once we finished unloading and lifted the ramp to put it away it fell out again.

Torre FOnly slight issue was fuel read Full on paperwork but was actually 3/4. Took picture of fuel before leaving and showed it to the receiver. He stated that any fuel disparity should be on pickup location, informed him and showed the pics with timestamp at time of pick with fuel at 3/4.

April WSo, this is a hard scenario because I am unsure what could be done. It's not merely the location. However, first the equipment. The truck was functional but it had many warning lights, the driver's door had to be slammed to be shut, and it was impossible to check the mileage without turning the vehicle off and then back on to see it, briefly, before the dashboard warnings took it away. However - the real problem was the application. It constantly froze, required constant amount of steps, and I was never even capable of completely the process of returning vehicle. I eventually left the key and contacted customer support. The app turned what would have just been an okay experience into something absolutely miserable.
Terry SI was told that I could drop it off at the location that was closer to my home and when I did the return it would only let me return the truck and trailer to the location that was 25 minutes further away had to add more fuel to get to the location so I wouldn't be charged a refuel fee.

tanya HI rented and i was not happy with the outcome. The cashier put the wrong miles in the system and I had to pay extra money on the return of the truck.
Jeanetta ATrucks don't seem to be cleaned except by customers. Michael is really nice and helpful, and I would recommend this location because of the sincerity of the customer service team.

ERIC HThankfully I was able to modify my reservation to get a truck a day early and use it for two days. The maintenance of the truck is very poor. The check engine light was on and the truck was in desperate need of a front end alignment. I know that moving trucks are always in demand but that is no excuse for poor vehicle maintenance.
Heather SI was charged twice, I’ll be back in person to confront tomorrow. Also, I got the 10 foot truck to move things, what moving truck doesn’t come with a ramp? The whole reason I got the truck is because I needed a ramp. Had to lift a washer and dryer with a dolly into a moving truck because it didn’t have a ramp, absolutely ridiculous. Truck was also unswelled when I received it, yet there’s a note inside, saying if I don’t sweep it out, I get a cleaning fee? How ridiculous.

ERIC BThis experience with UHaul was terrible!! The service guy was the best part of it, he was nice. The rest is history. I took the U-Haul back that night after they closed. I was exhausted, so yes I was an 1/8 of tank short. Mind you I had just put $20 more dollars in the tank before I dropped it off. Then a few days later I get a statement that I owe more above the rental its self and putting gas in it before returning it! The bill was $42 extra. My thought would be they would take the $42 out of my account that day, isn’t that why we give u a credit card number!! So today, a $72 charge was taken out of my account for U-Haul. No warning, emailed after the fact!! I will not be using U-Haul again because they do not tell you they will charge for other fees, 1/8 tank cost $18. Rip Off
Jennifer CThere was only two things that I had a problem with and that was the dog hair in the passenger seat. There was so much that it was visible at a glance. The cup holders were dirty. I not sure how often you all clean out the trucks but it should be after each and every customer. I understand that there might be a short time frame between each truck rental but someone should at least get in there and vacuum which could take least than 5 minutes. Other than that the customer service was great, five stars. But for my over all rating I would have to give a 2.5.

Patricia SOver charged. Was quoted online around $75.00 and by the time it was all done i ended up with a bill of $150.00.
