Make sure you have U haul issued dollies. When I returned truck to U-Haul location in Visalia, the customer service representative inspected the truck and told me not to forget my dolly and I told him it's from the U-haul shop (shields mini mart) I got the truck at.James R.

The truck was very dirty and wasn't washed. The cab smelled like cigarette and food. The trailer had trash and pallets inside, I had to clean it and sweep it myself. I wasn't given the option for the online check-in and to verify the mileage and gas levels or confirm vehicle damages. I could've left there with the odometer reading 1,000 miles over what was on the contract and wouldn't even know until I returned the vehicle. When asked for a service contract, I was told they do not provide a paper copy of the service contract and one would be emailed to me but I never received it. I rented a U-Haul a week ago and had a much more pleasant experience.James S.

Just stay away from this location. The store clerk was high. The area is dangerous. There was a ton of homeless men on drugs that kept walking back and forth past us yelling and taunting us. My boyfriend eventually escorted me back to our car and locked me in it because he was concerned for my safety. The store clerk had also given our padlock key to the wrong person and then asked us to use garden sheers and break it open. I asked if he could just switch our uhaul to another truck and was told the other trucks can't leave Fresno. This ended up being a 40min ordeal and we were eventually able to break it open so we could use the truck.Philip H.

Make sure check engine lights are not on and overheating. When I went to exchange it I was told I had to be back with the truck in 3 hrs because there was another reservation. It was not my fault the truck broke down the night before . I should have been given a refund for all the hassle. I had to find other people to help me move the next morning. When I picked up the truck it was dirty and on empty the guy at this location told me he would make note of it and to return it just as I got it I took pictures of before and after and I was still charged for gas even though I brought it back with more gas that I started withSteven T.
The kid in charge was totally lost, he couldn't count to 10 when trying to get me moving pads. The battery of the first truck was dead. He never checked the mileage or gas level and told me " to take a picture of it and we will figure it out later." No pre-inspection. The first truck had graffiti inside that said "suck my dick" spray painted. I cleaned the truck and filled the gas back to where I received it and now I am getting charged another $27 with no explanation. This place fucking sucks and I will never go back.Chris W.

The clerk / cashier didn't seem to have access to any of the uhaul records, and had to make a phone call to someone else. They didn't converse in English, but then the voice on the phone had the clerk ask me my name, which was understandable. After I identified myself, there was another wait and non-English conversation, and then the clerk asks to take a photo of my ID and credit card front and back with his cell phone. I had already completed my check in with the Uhaul app, and paid for the rental in full in advance, making this intrusive and completely unnecessary. I was in a rush so I relented and provided the clerk the documents. I then had to promptly cancel my credit card before my information could be compromised. There was no explanation as to the text link for pre inspection, so by the time I took my own 360 photos, I then attempt to use the provided link, which had already expired. I am a minority myself, so I understand that at times, English is not the primary language used. It was the lack of any explanation for actions requested or taken is what I have a problem with. The equipment was fairly new, although not very clean. No issues there with covid fear I guess. Who really wants to touch a strangers items these days? I ended up sanitizing it for myself.Charles C.

The uhaul was damaged, I moved to Washington. By the time I got there to unload, it had leaked water and my furniture and TVs Were wet. Not only did I get a run around to find my already reserved trucks. I got poor equipment.Justin T.

I was asked to move to this location after I was told a truck was not available near me WELL AFTER the reservation was made. It was miles away, the truck was NOT there when I arrived at my correct appointment time, and (1 hour and 15 minutes later) when a truck did arrive it was turned over to me filthy (used food containers in the cab) and with the gas below the empty mark.
