Called the 1800 number to book the reservation; was told that the truck would be able to two the trailer given the year/make/model provided over the phone. Drove all the way to the store to be told (by the 1800 number people) that my truck wouldn’t be able to tow it and wasn’t offered any type of compensation for my time and efforts. Very unpleased with the corrprate office at uhaul for this chain of events. If it wasn’t for the customer service at Shiloh Feed and Seed by Freddie Davis, I would solely rent through Budget and never deal with uhaul again.

First I wanted a 10 foot truck but they did not have it they did give us a 15 foot truck for the 10 foot price. Also they was no gas in the truck but he gave us a credit for it. So he was very helpful.

Picked up the truck in Melrose Florida Filthy in and out...steering is loose..if i had the time i would have stoped at DOT and had the truck red tag for safety violations. Truck was advertised at 10 miles to a gallon.. Every 100 or so miles had to stop to fill the tank...at 55 to 60 mph the truck shook violently. The people you have working for you is really nice..your vehicles are junk.

Had to go to a second location, because the first location had a truck for me that had poor tires and a very unstable ride. The second location representative told me the truck was in good condition, but when i arrived, the truck tires were worn tremendously, one tire had a hole in the tread, the cab smelled like smoke, and not until i checked the wipers, did we notice that the wiper blades were coming apart and falling off. I had to clean the inside of the cab myself, and wait for the wipers to be replaced. I made my Uhaul reservation well in advance, and none of these issues should have been present on the day of my pickup. Also, the brakes on the truck squeaked when used for the entire trip. This delayed my entire day of packing, and driving the truck i used with the tires in the condition they were in, was a very stressful experience. I am looking for an additional credit for this poor experience. I even dropped off the truck on the evening before my due date return.

The gentleman at this location is very professional and pleasant. The trailer had some dirt inside, but nothing a broom couldn't handle. The lights and braking on the trailer worked flawlessly.

Everything was good with the rental of the enclosed trailer. The customer service from the young man was very good. He was friendly and very helpful. I have never used this location before, I have normally used the other location in Melrose, Florida on SR 21 and was VERY dissatisfied with the customer service at that location. I am so glad there is the location on SR26. In the future I will ALWAYS use this location.

Upon picking up the truck, I was informed that the check engine light was on. The woman assured me that they had checked all the fluids. She said if I ran into any problems I could call uhaul. I explained that I was driving 140 miles and that it was not acceptable that the check engine light was on. She finally called uhaul and they said to give me the next size up truck for no additional cost. She told me that there was 146 miles free. Upon dropping the truck off, I was charged for additional mileage because the truck only came with 136 free miles.

The lady that took care of me at the location was friendly and nice but the whole transaction... of renting the truck was very bad. First of all I got a location very far away from the location that I needed... I was provided a truck size that was not the one that I needed. The whole process was extremely inconvenient and I adjusted to too many things that was not what I was looking or needing.

when I returned trailer on sunday they were not open. because the attachment wouldn't pull off the hitch and I didn't have any help, I had to return it the next day. I was initially charged, but the extra day was removed based on the fact that I did return it on time, although I had to leave because I couldn't get it off my car. happy with the result. thank you.

The service at the pick up location was excellent; however, I had to go 20 miles to this location after my original choice let me know only 14 hours beforehand. This was a huge inconvenience since I already had movers scheduled. I was very upset that I was not contacted sooner. I would not recommend the original pick up location on Main Street in Gainesville.
