The uhaul was not cleaned. I had to smell and step in urine to be able to get my items to San Diego for a customer. This was an unacceptable burden on my day that I was stuck with. Expecting the standard experience and given a pile of trash was such a let down. I will never use Uhaul againLucas W.

The gentleman was far from, but I will still respect him as another person. He was no where to be found when I showed up. Finally came outside and treated me like I shouldn't be there. He didn't do any check in process with me. Gave me a key and drove off. I thought he was going to return to go over return and check out with me so I waited. He finally came back and then said what are you still doing here. I would never go back to this guy and he's lucky I kept my cool. He was one of the most disrespectful human beings that I have ever come across in my 38 years on this earth. I don't care how bad of a day you're having you never treat a stranger or another person with such disrespect. I hope all is well with him and that his day, week, and life gets better. Poor guy. All in all I am Thankful that I was able to get the uhaul and return it. Thank you for your service.Brody C.

I ordered a truck and a dolly. When I arrived, the dolly wasn't there. He said I had to go to another Uhaul to pick it up. I was charged for the distance traveled to the other Uhaul location to pick up the dolly I paid for.mac A.
When I arrive at the drop off location, I asked the guy if he needed anything else from me and he said not unless you have any money. It was not funny and made me feel uncomfortable. He also took the keys without going over any farms or the vehicle with me, and I know I drop the vehicle off with enough gas because it was not a burden for me to have filled it up earlier that day, however I knew I was over the gas requirement so I did not bother. He documented that my gas was below the gas line and charge me an extra $30 to fill it up as I saw in an email after I already left. I should have a picture myself but only took pictures of my car parked on the outside. When I called customer service, they claimed that he said he documented it correctly. I asked them to ask him to send them a picture as proof, however he did not take a picture to show them and it is just his word against mine. This was after having the drop off location changed on me four times within the last 24 hours and resulting in this place, which was not even the closest one to me, and made me waste gas in the first place as well as a large time of my day.Zaidal O.
Had an appt for 1pm. Showed up on time and waited for 45 mins. Rang the doorbell three times. Knocked. No one answered and the place was obviously locked up. A guy came out of the house connected to the building and said the place was closed and then slammed the door. Why would Uhaul let me reserve a van at a place that was not open with no means to pick up the keys? I was eventually re-rerouted to a uhaul place a few miles away. But to make matters worse I was sent a receipt that said I did pick up the van and I drove it 4 milesâ€¦. Seems like the person falsified the document to make it seem like he was working the location and allowed me to use the van even though I have a separate receipt from a separate location proving I picked up an alternate van. This has been a stressful, annoying and inconvenient experienceReed C.
This is a very small U-Haul satellite lot, not a full-service U-Haul location. The owner was very nice & helpful, and my pick-up truck was clean & waiting for me. The truck was nearly out of gas, but there was a gas station two blocks away--I fueled it and received a full credit for the fuel against my rental. This small U-Haul location was near my house, and right next to the 10 Freeway, so very convenient--but as they have a small inventory, be sure to reserve ahead.Anthony G.

The person was rude and did not answer the door after 3 tries. I left and when I spoke to a uhaul rep she called and arranged for him to responded to me . When I called myself at 915 for my 9am reservation he said they weren't open till 10 and hung up on me. The truck was dirty and the windshield was filthy and there wasn't any fluid in the tank. A oil change light was lit when I picked up the van. I would NEVER rent from this location again.Mark R.

When I arrived to pick up the Uhaul truck, no one was there despite having spoken to the owner many times during the week and arranging to pick up the truck at 9:00 am. There was no way to contact the owner besides the regular number. I had to contact another Los Angeles Uhaul and have them contact the owner directly. Even after all that it took 45 mins after my appointment time to get the code to the lockbox to get the truck. The owner never showed up, I did not receive my moving pads, and had to figure everything out on my own. I would not recommend this location to anyone, especially if you are on a time constraint.Garrett H.

The person running the office was rude and threatening. For example, prior to leaving, I asked if the van had been cleaned (given the COVID situation). He groaned, and sarcastically said "no", and walked off. I assumed he was having bad day...but even that didn't makes sense given it was 9am. A truly awful experience.Paul D.

This location specifically did a good job, but this was the 3rd location I dealt with while trying to make a reservation. I was allowed to make 2 reservations that were canceled and I received attitude while trying to verify I got to use a truck. As previously stated, this specific location did well. If I could leave reviews for the previous uhaul places, they would get awful reviews. I also didn't get a dolly.Geoffrey L.
First, they didn't have the size van I had reserved, then it wasn't at the location promised, then there wasn't enough gas in the vehicle to get me to my location so I had to fill up before hitting the road, and then, the people I spoke to at both locations were very unhelpful. This guy at the drop off location is HORRIBLE. I would be embarrassed to have this individual representing my company. HE WAS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I am just grateful he was not there at the beginning of rental process. I have never felt so threatened, scared and confused by someone who works in a customer service field. I think U-haul should replay the video from my return to understand how terrible this person is. He actually made an easy drop off turned in to an anxiety most stressful situation.Saron K.

I dealt with Rick during the 13 days I had the u-haul. I did come across some issue such as lockout but any and every issue he was able to handle and did it well. I'm very satisfied with the service he rendered to me and will be referring others over to him. Thank youjason W.
I reserved a 20 foot truck well in advance. Then was told 2 days before my move that he couldn't get it and could only get a 15 foot truck instead which was way too small for me. The day of pick up be managed to get the 20 foot truck but it was extremely stressful and what is the point of reserving a certain size truck if you can't actually reserve it? That's horrible service which was expensive as it is. Next time I will be using a different rental company.Jayson P.

I rented a utility dolly for $7. I told the person working there I'd be back in a few hours. He said they close at 5pm. I got there at 4pm, and the office door was open, but the security/metal barred door was locked. No one was there to found. I waited 20 mins. Called several times; no answer. There was another lady there hoping he'd come back so she could rent a van; she ended up doing it online on her phone. Another guy waited around then left. I had an appointment so I had to call U-Haul and move my return to another location, which meant dropping it off another day--more time and work. I have nothing against U-Haul, but that guy really should have been at work. One of the neighbors there said he disappears sometimes. How can you run a business and not be there? I'm not mad, but that guy should be made aware of being absent at work is not cool--he didn't even put up a "I'll be back" sign.Nathan D.

I need to dispute the fuel charge on the most recent rental, and wanted to discuss another situation that I hope you can help me with. I do not disputed the end fuel level, however when I rented the vehicle it was only halfway full so I do not think I should be charged for the whole tank. Also, when I tried to return the vehicle as scheduled on Sunday, the owner of Ship It was not there to accept the vehicle and there was nowhere to leave it even though the business was listed as open. I called Uhaul customer service and while they did not charge me for keeping it an extra day to return the vehicle the following day, I had to take time off of work and use two Ubers to make the return as the ride I had arranged to pick me up the day before was not available. If there is someway to make this right either through reimbursement of my Ubers or a discount on the overall rental charge I'd really appreciate it.Daniel P.

Whoever was running this location was VERY slow. I walked in and sat down and waited 15 minutes for him to come to the desk and help me. The following day when I was returning the vehicle the entrance was locked, I rang the doorbell once and waited 15 minutes for someone to come out. Irate customer service when returned clean vehicle with my nine year old daughter. Customer service rep, who was pleasant when I picked up the vehicle, upon returning, screamed at me through a locked gate when I asked for a receipt, saying repeatedly "I'm on the air," "you can check it in yourself," "I'm too busy." My daughter said she felt unsafe and I did too.
