The woman in Shotz liquor was very new at checking a customer in for a Uhaul rental. She asked for my ID, took a picture if it with her personal phone. This is something I have never experienced before. I always upload my id to the app. Now my ID could be compromised. Next there was dog poop in the grass where we picked up the truck. I had to navigate around it to take the pictures. There was no hand truck that I ordered in the truck. My husband went back inside and told the clerk. He discovered she was using it to move liquor boxes in the store and didn't really want to give it up. I was given a discount to pick a truck up here by the Uhaul rep. I really regret taking that discount now. It was 11 miles out of our way. I rented a truck directly at our storage unit. I was told that this little mom and pop shop had too many rentals there. This is not true. There were only 4 trucks and plenty of space. I will never take the discount again or believe the Uhaul reps when they call me to change my plans. What a mistake.
