The vehicle was dirty, it appeared someone made a poor attempt to clean the inside. Food crumbs, wrappers, cigarette ash, and dust and dirt in the cab of the vehicle. Plastic trim at driver seatbelt was broken and I almost cut my hand on it. There was a constant squeaking inside the can, it was loud and obnoxious. The outside was dirty, with mud. The bed of the truck was dirty with mud. The vehicle smelled like an ashtray. Never again. I have photos and video.

The guy in the store was rude. He was more worried about selling guns than getting us in our truck. The parking lot wasn't poliwed and he rushed us through the truck inspection. Over all poor customer service, rude. I wouldn't want to deal with him again.

The trailer was sitting in a snow bank that we had to get it out of. It was full of snow so the dryer we were hauling had to just sit on top because we didn’t have a shovel. It had not snowed for at least a week prior. We only used the trailer for an hour but the following day I received an email stating the rental equipment was not turned in. I called immediately and was told they were working on it as they did not know how to upload pictures. This created unnecessary confusion. I received an invoice email the day after that showing my payment so I assume everything is all good.

The vehicle was clean, however it was buried in snow and ice. It took two of us about 30 minutes just to clear the snow and ice off the cab just to see out the windshield. The rear roll up door was frozen shut so another 10 minutes to get it open. Then several attempts to get the truck out of the parking spot due to the snow pushed up against it. When I finally got to the storage unit to load up my furniture it got stuck again, found that the tires had little tread left on them. During the drive to Wisconsin there were many instances of sliding on the roads - yes the winter conditions in some areas were bad but the tires made it all that much worse. Also the passenger door latch was not working so I had to pull it shut and lock the door to get it to latch. The truck also did not have cruise control so the 500 mile trip was that much more difficult.

I asked for a 5 day return and i was given a 3 day with no receipt from a guy in a gun store who seemed very out of it and not wanting to be there. Instead of calling me on sunday to see where their trailer is at they wait til tuesday afternoon. Lady said everything was ok, I returned the trailer and then they took 89 dollars from my bank account. Literally the lady in ohio said it was ok and no problems but I guess that means late fees. She didn't bother to tell me at all, probably too scared to get into a conflict. Never deal with these two spots again.

He was 20 minutes late to opening the door so I could get my equipment. I called and he still didn’t open the door for at least five minutes and the store was to open right at 9. He did not seem to care that I had movers and could lose my movers time over this and acted like he had the right to run that late and it wasn’t a big deal. I also had to walk in mud to get to my u haul that was parked in the grass. I will NEVER use this location again.

Actually listen to their customers when they have a issue... my wife and I put 80 dollars of gas in the uhaul truck and still when I returned the truck it seemed the gas just disappeared and I wrote down the mileage on the truck when I picked it up and then returned it. I only used 45 miles and it seems that they want to say I had alot more!!!! SMH!!!!! I always use uhaul for my moving needs. After this I most likely won't use them again!!!!! It's such a shame because I really trusted them.

I asked to rent the truck from Monday to Wed., and recieved a text to return the truck by 10pm Monday. Returned Tues morning clean & ready to be sent out. Saw sign in truc, if clean upon return, a $25.00 credit would be on my bill. No such thing was given.

I was very uncomfortable going into a gun shop. I didn’t expect it to only be someone using his tablet to figure out my rental. It felt quite sketchy. The parking lot was muddy & difficult to navigate.

Clean equipment, explaine expectations of taking pictures of the truck before leaving the site. Having the equipment requested and promised available and not acting as if you don’t know next steps to help get the equipment, leaving it up to me to take care of.

When I got there to pick up truck it was a shit show. Took the guy 20 minutes just to get his computer turned on. The place looked more like a gun range than a uhaul depot.

It would be nice if you updated the hours for this pick up location and update the fact that they do not do after hours pick ups. We scheduled for a 6pm pickup and when we got there the location was closed. We had to wait unt the next morning. We also did not select the insurance for $14 but we were charged for it. Please refund our money.

When the reservation was made they we gave them the exact date when it would be returned and that it would be one way and returned to Grand rapids mn. 55744. We had to give it to the people numerous times. I then got a text from someone in brained MN asking where the trailer was. I told them all the info again and she rudely told me there would be extra charges. The originating company in mt. Pleasant never said a word about extra fees.i have used U-Haul a lot over the last 2 months and this was totally awful. No one knew what they were doing. Very unprofessional and rude. Very upset and disappointed.

Aside from the one U-haul truck that was parked on the side of the building, there was no indication that it was an actual location for pick up and drop off. It was a gun and fireworks store. I walk in and ask if the place was where i drop off and the man at the counter responded with “i guess so” and proceeded to tell me that “we aren’t supposed to be taking trucks until next week but i guess i can take it”. How unsettling is that. To leave a very expensive truck with someone who has no idea what they are doing. Overall the experience sucked and i will not be renting one again.
