My original pick up site in Corpus Christi had rented out my trailer on my day of pickup even despite having had a reservation. After several calls I was able to locate a trailer in Alice Tx. Very unhappy with original location. All of this delayed me a day I am very unhappy with original location.

They provided a much needed hand truck even though it wasn't a full service UHaul dealership. Thumbs up!
There were a few complications in regards to my reservation before I picked up the truck at this location. I think future complications could be mitigated if there was more communication from U-Hual's representatives with the location. There seems to be a discrepancy between what U-Hual representatives see as "available" trucks and what is actually at the location.
The staff was INCREDIBLE!

It did take a little while to get my info verified, although I had booked online and filled out the "expedited checkout" information ahead of time on the website. Otherwise, everything went pretty smoothly.
The trailer rented did not have a jack on the tongue to lift the trailer to the ball of my truck. I don't think it's my responsibility to manually lift the trailer nor the responsibility of the young lady that assisted me to do so. The female assistant did an excellent job at assisting me to lift it since I am 71 years old and was unable to do it alone.

had to wait to return trailer only for me to be told to use the app which was not working before.. she got it to work then it cost me an extra $22 bucks for being late drop off for an hour...still fighting that charge

I definitely would not recommend. In fact, I'll insist not to use this location. While I was checking truck in, a guy approach me demanding the keys. I had no idea, whatsoever who this guy was. Turned out he worked for uhaul. How am I going to hand over keys to a stranger? It was kinda a distance between drop off and store. When I got to store there was no key drop-off. I asked an employee and she said "you need to talk to guy who went out there". So, now I feel some kind of way. He's ignoring me standing there. Worse experience, this far, coming and going.
There was an issue with the computer but they were great in getting everything resolved.
Have a little compassion, my husband just passed away last week and I had to move out of our home quickly, I brought the truck back with gas, but it was just a tiny bit off, and I was charged $30.00. As I'm trying to explain that I was getting low on money, I was told rules are rules and she went ahead an charged my debit card.... For a rental of a truck that was only supposed to be 19.95, it ended up costing m over 200.00. I had to make several trips with the truck, but the compassion was less than stellar, will no longer use Uhaul... And they gave me a dirty truck, inside was not clean at all. Thank you for making my loss even harder ..
At this point, I had completely forgot about the furniture pads. When returning the U-Haul the vehicle had just a little more gas than when I received it but was told it should have at least half a tank. I explained that I had to fill the tank up before before leaving town by adding almost 26 gallons costing me 60 dollars and the lady had said to bring it back with the same amount. I was charged a fee for the lack of gas. Then they noticed the furniture pads were missing, and since there was no proof that I never got them I was charged for the missing items. The women that helped me was only doing her job, but I was frustrated with the extra money I had to spend. This was my first time renting and it wasn't fair.
People at the location went above and beyond them helping get on my way. Awesome experience.

I was overcharged. I only used it for like less than 10 miles. The truck was 39 and I was charged 60.
The staff know how to take the work out of hooking up a trailer.
Horrible customer service will never return
Allow customer to drop off equipment whever u-hauls are located without ridiculous "wrong destination fees." It was a night mare and very expensive to return the equipment. I rented the equipment away from where I live 3 hrs and u-haul made me take it back at the location if not there be a $350 fee.. how ridiculous is that?!!!!!
