The lady was very sweet and very efficient. Even though I arrived minutes before closing and was at the wrong location for drop off, she cheerfully accepted me returning my eqpt. I only regret having no cash on me after moving my son into limestone: she deserved a tip as thanks. Keep up the good work.Keven D.

Unable to use app (would not recognize location w/â€œlocation â€œ turned on. Couldn't access keys for van after getting access through the actual website. PW provided proved to be correct, but lock doesn't appear to have been maintained for being in good working order. Lost 12 hours of time getting started due to being able to leave with truck Friday night. Local associate had trouble getting the lock off citing sometimes they have these issues (replace the lock maybe??) pick up person â€œdid t realizeâ€ there was supposed to be an appliance fillet and 12 blankets. Stated â€œdidn't see them in the orderâ€. Had to drive back To location and pick up. No apology. Drop off service was fantastic. Local person in Greenwood actually told me â€œthanks for folding the blankets and that made it easier to account for â€œ. Due to time, I didn't have to opportunity to top off gas tank. I'm fine with the $25 I said for fuel. Between myself and my daughter, we both lost a days work due to having to actually picking up the truck Saturday AM versus Friday PM. BETWEEN THE 2 of us ~$350 in lost wages for a $200 rental. Would have been less expensive to hire labor (no fault of ours, but fault with Simple Storage In Gaffney). Lesson learned. Even though I have rented with Uhaul 4-5 time in the last 3 years all mostly good experiences, this most recent is the one that remains at the forefront of the decision making we will make in the next -0 months when its time to move her again. U-Haul is not at the top of the list. NOT HAPPY!!!!Paul G.

Arrived to return unit and had to wait outside for 45 minutes in the 86 degree heat with my 5 year old son who needed to use the restroom and was denied. What a joke!! Finally after waiting I was told that the receptionist was busy on the phone and that I could just leave the keys and she'd send an email for my receipt. I estimated the total miles to be around 80 and only actually put 46 on the truck. I was charged .79 cents per mile and have not received my money back or my receipt. How hard is it to sit at a computer and answer the phones? I'll choose another vendor the next time I need to rent a truck.Luke M.

Quick and easy but I was overcharged $70 and no one will help me try to fix the problem. They didn't put a dolly in my truck even though I paid for it also. Other than that it was very easy and quick to pick up and return.Zackary S.

Ensure the truck is safely and properly functioning without mechanical breakdown. *Dispite this being my 1st Uhaul rental ever, I was stranded for over 4 hours awaiting a mechanical repair.Ronald H.
The store called me on Thursday to let me know they closed at 5, so I needed to be there to get the keys. While enroute, I called to let them know we hit a traffic jam but would be there as near to 5, gps was showing 5:04. When we pulled up, at 4:58, the clerk raced to the window and turned the sign to closed right in front of us. My son opened the door and went in and they stated they were closed. As we were standing in parking lot two women walked out, I told them I would be submitting a negative review. One lady proceeded to tell me she said I had to be there by 4:30 because UHaul shuts their computers down, but offered no help in getting our truck. When we did finally get in our truck, it was empty.Chance P.

We were charged a cleaning fee but we cleaned the truck. We arrived just 5 minutes after closing so we had to leave the keys in the drop box and forego having the truck inspected. That extra charge was unfair.Derek L.

The trucks need to be checked out more thoroughly. The engine light and one other light were on on the dash. If I hadn't been making a short trip I wouldn't have rented it. I just think it's wrong to pay full price for a defective truck that could have let me down.Karen N.
