1) reserved one-way truck with Troy, IL to pick up in Dixon. (Troy office was very helpful, very efficient). 2) We got call 2 days before saying no truck available in Dixon. 3) changed reservation to pick up in Mendota. 4) arrived at Mendota and they said they had no idea we were picking up. This reservation experience took SIX phone calls to reserve and they still didn’t know we were coming. We had to wait while they called someone else to get instructions. “Anyone can take a reservation”. Totally disappointed in U-Hauls reservation system. Can just anybody be a U-Haul location? Bonus comment, as we pulled out of Dixon, we drove past U-Haul on Bloody Gulch Road, and they had 3 10-ft trucks sitting in parking lot.

Only issue we had is that dolly and furniture clothes were not provided to us even though we paid for them with the rental

The key was not in either of the slots, they were inside the store, which was closed. Our pick up was at 8am and the store opened at 9. Then the guy stated he thought the pick up time was 9am, not 8am.

Well because they had to bring truck from rock island to Mendota, they said 250 then said 500!! I thought that was shit, but needed it, if I wasn't pressed to get that move done, I would of went to someone else!!!

Getting the trailer checked in was easy.

My husband and I went into ask how we get a rental. The employee asked me a few questions and got the reservation going. We picked up the trailer and we were on our way.
