Lindsey DLocation was ok, but the overall experience was not. they did help get me setup with another truck somewhere else, but ended up having to go to multiple locations to get the truck, and furniture dolly's.

Also, I was told that we would get rid of embarrassment based on more gas in the vehicle than what we got whenever we purchased a vehicle from the other location to go load our belongings out of our house. I’m waiting to hear back from U-Haul in regards to that.

Carla TUhaul was dirty, wreaked of cigarette smoke, and beat up pretty good. It also only had 1/8 a tank of gas in it.
James HInitially I thought check in was super easy. I parked the truck, walked into the office, and was prepared to complete the process of providing mileage, looking at the vehicle, and confirming gas level; however, the employee greeted me, took the keys, and said that was it. Very cool, until the next afternoon when I looked at my Uhaul account and realized the truck had not been checked in. I had to contact customer service, who were very fast and efficient, to follow up with the drop off location to finish check in.
James CWe were less than an hour late returning the truck. It’s brutally hot here and we just couldn’t unload as fast as we wanted to. The clerk where we returned it called me and was rude as she could be and the when I returned the ruck she was agin not nice. We weren’t rude and never said anything ugly.

NATALY HOur experience was abhorrent, to say the least. We reserved our 20' truck, trailer, furniture pads, and two-wheel dolly two months prior to our move date. We spoke to someone at this location to verify that the reservation was in their system and that the selections we made would be available at the location on the date we specified. We were then notified in an email that the we were to pick the truck up at a different location, a gas station nearby. We were concerned that this would cause an issue with the trailer hook-up and contacted the store again to ensure that we could pick up at this location, which they confirmed. Less than 24 hours before our scheduled pick-up time, the store contacted us to confirm our reservation for the following day. They told us they had a 20’ truck available, but not the trailer we needed to tow our vehicle. We explained that it was confirmed by the store when we made our reservation two months prior, but they said none could be made available. We asked what our options were, as we now had no way of moving our vehicle over 1500 miles. The store was unable to provide a resolution and offered a $50 credit. We explained that we would have to find someone, with no notice, who could drive the vehicle to our new home and pay for them to fly back; a flight that costs considerably more than $50. We were told someone would contact us in 24-48 hours with a resolution (spoiler: it has been 11 days since this conversation and no one has contacted us to discuss the issues). The morning of our pick-up, the store was initially unable to find our reservation and, once they did, told us that they did not have a two-wheel dolly available, regardless of our reservation. Upon leaving the store, we saw that there was at least one dolly “for sale” on the sales floor. We then had to make a trip to Home Depot to purchase one for our move–another charge we were not anticipating. After already beginning to load the truck, we were contacted by the store again to notify us that a trailer was available over 40 minutes away. We explained that we were expecting to be on the road by that evening, had already made arrangements for someone to drive the vehicle and purchased a non-refundable plane ticket for them to get home, AND no one had contacted us to discuss a resolution. We were told again that someone would reach out within 24-48 hours. In addition to the previously stated expenses, we had to pay for gas for the vehicle that was intended to be towed, as well as hotel accommodations and food for the additional driver. Three days after this saga began, we received an email from Jennifer Holman (Traffic Control Manager) stating that a $50 refund had been issued, even though we STILL had not been contacted and there had been no acknowledgement of the issues that occurred. At the time of our pick-up, we were told by the store associate that our contract would state the gas tank was at 3/4 full. When we returned the truck, we were charged $20 because we were misinformed and the contract actually stated the tank level was 13/16 full. Quite frankly, a $50 refund is offensive. We chose to make a large move with U-Haul over less expensive companies because we trusted the brand and it ended up being one of the worst mistakes we could make.

Chris MOverall the facility and the UHaul met my expectations. What made this experience awful was the customer service we received. The woman was not only rude, but honestly she was mean for no reason. I realize she probably has to deal with a lot of crappy people, but myself and my family were not that and did not deserve to be treated like we were.
Michelle HThe location is difficult to find and my only interaction with the employees was “drop your key in the Dropbox and we’ll email you when we get to it.” No equipment check, no opportunity to ask any questions or provide any information about the rental.
