I have used uhaul before but this is my worst experience. Next time I will use 2 men and a truck. It is ridiculous how my card was charged $77 for gas. It was late and we did bring it back with a little over half and not half. Only to receive a message that it was half tank which is not true. We brought it back with it needing a little gas to get to 3/4. This is ridiculous and a dreadful act. Sorry but this should have been a zero star. That's not acceptable.TAMAR C.

18 year old trailer shook badly at highway speed brake actuator was damaged tongue was slightly bent and did not track straight. We were in an unknown area and pressed for time. This was the only trailer they had so we took it. Service at the location was great the people were friendly and the location was clean. But I was disappointed in the equipment. I should have asked to swap but we did not have time to spare.James P.

Employee didn't know what they were doing...This is my third use of Uhaul this year - first time this location - by far the worst. No one to help me hook up trailer - no one to safety check the lights. Will not go back to this location again.James B.

Upon dropping the uhaul off, I had originally selected a location further from my house. After driving the uhaul in its condition, I made the choice for my safety to take it to this uhaul dealer. Upon arrival, the front staff was great. She made the appropriate calls and guided me on what I needed to do. After calling roadside assistance and another number given to me by roadside assistance, both stating that it was not their problem and that I needed to drive the uhaul to the chosen location, despite its condition, the mechanics at this uhaul on Dunn Road came to talk to me and advised me to leave it as well due to safety. Roadside assistance and the personnel that deal with truck issues need to be addressed. None of them listened or were willing to help, also telling me I'd be charged additionally for taking the truck to a different location. I explained that if uhaul would be charging me for this , I would no longer be a customer, they told me "ok have a good day". This is the most outrageous lack of customer service I've ever experienced. And sadly, if someone had been behind the wheel of that uhaul that had not grown up driving large vehicles, the uhaul would have flipped. Please address these issues with everyone and make sure another customer does not have to go thru the same stressful and scary trip that I had to face.Shelby W.
Better customer service. When I showed up to the office, the lady attended me and during the process she had gotten a phone call and stood on the phone for 15 minutes. I shouldn't have waited that long. Also after hooking up the trailer, I realized the connecter for the light was unserviceable. It was to short to reach my truck. Finding another connector was another extra 20 minutes I had to wait.Edgar S.

He truck itself was he worst I have ever driven. It was clean but it vibrated and shook so bad the whole way. Couldn't carry a conversation because of it. And caused me pain. I had to get another car for the family to drive in so they didn't have to bear this burden with me.Thomas C.

Everything worked out in the end but I had a ruff start. Not so friendly on the phone. over charged, no big deal but they could have fixed the problem at the location and said they had no way to fix it but that is simply not true, they had everything they needed to fix it but sent me to U-Haul. I was given the contract and told the dolly was outside. No one bothered to assist or ensure I knew what I was doing.Frank S.
This location was by far the worst place I have ever rented a Uhaul. The staff was sitting around eating and joking with each other while I was attempting to pick up my uhaul. Once I finally got my trailer and paperwork squared away, the clerk sent a young man outside to hook up the uhaul to my Ford F150. The guy came back in and said everything was squared away and I was good to go. I went outside and looked and it seemed ok. As I left the establishment I was driving for maybe 10 minutes when the trailer came off my hitch and started swaying everywhere. I immediately slowed down and pulled off to the side of the road to inspect any damage to my truck or the trailer. I noticed some small paint damage to my bumper and the uhaul hitch looked bent. I called the Triple A tow yard where I rented the trailer to inform them of what happened and all they said was sorry and they would talk to the young man. I was furious but at the same time, I had to get my trailer packed up and leave as I am military and was on a time crunch to get to my next duty station. I reported the incident to the Uhaul rep up in Lakewood, Wa and he was very apologetic. He said he noticed the uhaul hitch rail that attached to my hitch was bent and apologized for the horrible experience back in North Carolina. I wish Uhaul would not use such unprofessional individuals to rent out their equipment because it gives them a bad rap. Other than that I had no issues during my travels from North Carolina to Washington state.SHAWN F.

There was a disconnect between two locations. The information received at one office wasn't transferred two the next. The same information/process had to be accomplished over and over. Also would suggest that the nylon ties for the tires be replaced more frequently.... A strap severed, while in tow...from what appeared to be dry rot.TROI S.

I was charged for a dolly that I never received and was given the truck with a quarter tank of gas in it with the expectation to fill it to the three quarter mile mark. Not to mention after reserving the vehicle and showing up to my reserved time, the lady who ran UHaul wasn't at the location spot. Therefore, one of the other employees who didn't know what she was doing was force to help me out by calling a hire up. I reserved my vehicle and dolly for 1pm and got there at 12:49pm and wasn't able to leave until almost 2pm. Then I was supposed to return said vehicle by 6, when I come to drop of the truck and get my refund for unused miles and no dolly, they were closed; mind you I wasn't told about the time this location would be closing. I had a terrible experience here, was overcharged overall with or without the dolly and would never return to it. The only positive about the place was the lady who helped me get my truck who didn't know what she was doing but figured it out anyway.Victoria H.

When I schcheduled the tow dolly I was given a price of $330 and was surprised when my husband came home and revealed to me that in fact it was $472 roughly. Uhaul should honor the prices quoted.ASHLEY L.
