I have used Uhaul for years with all of my Military moves but this is the first time I have ever been charged a cleaning fee after dropping a truck off. The truck was as clean as when I picked it up, so I am unsure if you are just trying to upcharge me or what is happening. That went on my government travel card, not a personal credit card. I will not use Uhaul again in the future and will discourage everyone within my circle of influence to not use Uhaul, they will price gouge you without warning and for no reason.

PHILLIPI RNo issues with this location. The woman that helped me stated the price was abnormally high, but she could not tell why becuase uHaul did not make the information available to her. A 1 day trailer rental should not cost $142.

John DThe trailer was dropped off on 18OCT22 and I was charged for 2 extra days. The lady at the desk looked up my contract and told me to drop the trailer and I was good. Currently working with Uhaul for a refund on the extra $60 I was charged for late drop off.
Joshua WYOU LIED TO ME & MY WIFE. YOU RENTED THE TRAILER FROM FAYETTEVILE NC TO SNEADS FERRY NC FROM FRIDAY TO SATURDAY FOR 47 DOLLARS. THEN ON THREE OCCASIONS SAID IF I WOULD RETURN IT TO JACKSONVILLE INSTEAD OF LITTLE SNEADS FERRY YOU WOULD GIVE ME BACK 33 DOLLARS. AFTER MAY HOURS BEING ON THE PHONE WITH YOU GUYS, YOU JUST STILL PASS ME AROUND AND DON'T GIVE ME THE MONEY. WHY IN THE HELL I WENT OUT OF MY WAY FOR OVER AN HOUR OF MY DRIVING TIME TO DROP OFF THE TRAILER IN JACKSONVILLE, AND MY I ADD OT WAS A DAY EARLY TO SO GUYS COULD RENT IT AGAIN IN ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND, IS BEYOND ME!!! AND YES AFTER CALLING AND TALKING TO (HICKORY & WILMINGTON?) THEY BOTH SENT ME TO THIS JACKSONVILLE DROP OFF SITE. EVEN THE WEBSITE WAS OFFERING AN ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT! I GUESS WITH UHAUL, "NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED". I KNOW WE ARE JUST ANOTHER COUPLE OF GREY HAIRS, BUT YOU SHOULDN'T JUST AUTOMATICALLY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF US, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE WERE TRYING TO HELP YOU GUYS OUT. RADOMIR KEvelyn and the staff at Soles Auto were courteous and professional. Their lobby has comfortable leather furniture with a large television. I arrived early and the equipment was ready at the appointed time. I would, and will, recommend this location to my friends, coworkers, and students.

Greg WI have used uhaul before but this is my worst experience. Next time I will use 2 men and a truck. It is ridiculous how my card was charged $77 for gas. It was late and we did bring it back with a little over half and not half. Only to receive a message that it was half tank which is not true. We brought it back with it needing a little gas to get to 3/4. This is ridiculous and a dreadful act. Sorry but this should have been a zero star. That’s not acceptable.

Robert l18 year old trailer shook badly at highway speed brake actuator was damaged tongue was slightly bent and did not track straight. We were in an unknown area and pressed for time. This was the only trailer they had so we took it. Service at the location was great the people were friendly and the location was clean. But I was disappointed in the equipment. I should have asked to swap but we did not have time to spare.

Althea GEmployee didn't know what they were doing...This is my third use of Uhaul this year - first time this location - by far the worst. No one to help me hook up trailer - no one to safety check the lights. Will not go back to this location again.

JESSIE FUpon dropping the uhaul off, I had originally selected a location further from my house. After driving the uhaul in its condition, I made the choice for my safety to take it to this uhaul dealer. Upon arrival, the front staff was great. She made the appropriate calls and guided me on what I needed to do. After calling roadside assistance and another number given to me by roadside assistance, both stating that it was not their problem and that I needed to drive the uhaul to the chosen location, despite its condition, the mechanics at this uhaul on Dunn Road came to talk to me and advised me to leave it as well due to safety. Roadside assistance and the personnel that deal with truck issues need to be addressed. None of them listened or were willing to help, also telling me I'd be charged additionally for taking the truck to a different location. I explained that if uhaul would be charging me for this , I would no longer be a customer, they told me "ok have a good day". This is the most outrageous lack of customer service I've ever experienced. And sadly, if someone had been behind the wheel of that uhaul that had not grown up driving large vehicles, the uhaul would have flipped. Please address these issues with everyone and make sure another customer does not have to go thru the same stressful and scary trip that I had to face.
Shelby WBetter customer service. When I showed up to the office, the lady attended me and during the process she had gotten a phone call and stood on the phone for 15 minutes. I shouldn't have waited that long. Also after hooking up the trailer, I realized the connecter for the light was unserviceable. It was to short to reach my truck. Finding another connector was another extra 20 minutes I had to wait.

sAVANNAH HHe truck itself was he worst I have ever driven. It was clean but it vibrated and shook so bad the whole way. Couldn't carry a conversation because of it. And caused me pain. I had to get another car for the family to drive in so they didn't have to bear this burden with me.
Thomas CThe truck was not very clean inside. There was damage to the override control so it would not turn off. Seems like a simple fix for the garage holding the truck.

Not so friendly on the phone. over charged, no big deal but they could have fixed the problem at the location and said they had no way to fix it but that is simply not true, they had everything they needed to fix it but sent me to U-Haul.
