My trailer was supposed to be picked up on last Thursday morning at 10:30am. I went to pick it up and no one was there. I called the number I had and the female employee said she had to leave and would not be back until 1:30pm but would call if she got back early. I was there at 1:30 and she showed up about 2:00pm. I had to make 2 trips that was about 45 minutes one way for me because I live that far away. This cost me over 3-1/2 hours! Not to mention the gas and the time waiting!Mike T.

I resevered the trunk online to be booked in Monroe. I called Monroe U-haul to confirm that the truck was their and they said it was. When I got to U-haul Monroe they told me I had no reservation with them. Thats were I found out it was in Greenwood Lake. I was very unhappy with this company. I had 4 people helping me that day and we had to drive around to find this place. I asked the guy if he would give me a break on the price to make up for the inconvience or free blankets, he said no. This company just doesn't care about its customers.MATTHEW S.

UHaul should Get out of the rental business. Their disregard for customers is mind boggling. How could you transfer a reservation made over a month ago to a small town 40 miles away! Although the people were courteous, they had no control over UHaul.VICTOR G.

Maggie was wonderful. I wish you had sent me a survey for the last time we rented. The Hewitt, NJ location has the worst customer service EVER. We have called that place twice and were told we had a truck and twice there was not one available. The lady at Hewitt was rude and ignorant. I would NEVER rent from her EVER!!!! Maggie at Greenwood lumber was pleasant and efficient. The only complaint we have it the you claim the 14 ft truck is a full 14 ft, but you count the SMALL ' BONUS' Grandma's attic as part of the 14 ft...this is decieving and makes it VERY hard to fit all your things. You should not charge for a 14 ft truck when it is really about 12 ft with the bonus attic!ADAM E S.
At the other end I belive that they charged to much the gas I used. I put gas in the truck but it was slightly below the 1/2 mark from when I got it. The charged me $44 dollars for gas used, that is excessiveROBERT P.
I went to pick up the truck and ask the teller can I return the truck to Hewitt, NJ and she replied yes, I asked then what would be different and she replied 1.99 instead of .99 per mile, I then said to her about how much are we talking about and she replied not much is just the same and I said Ok, the difference was when I returned the truck I was charged 42.?? because on the original contract I had requested two days and now she just changed it to one day, I would only have to travel six miles back to Jersey ave in warwick, if she had disclosed that I would brought the truck back there, I went back to the store and she said that on the first schedule that I made over the phone the teller had put me in for only one day and not two as per the e-mail she had received, I asked for the e-mail confirmation and she said it has been deleted, can some one give me a call back to solve this matter or I will call later on today. don't make the customer have to drive 30 miles to get the truck, when there is a closer pickup location.
