The original drop off location (Clover) was a hotel and not a U Haul location. It was very inconvenient to find another location. South side Marathon was very accommodating to take the trailer.

You can’t improve perfection. Wonderful experience, always an easy transaction for a rental of a van or a truck.

Pick up location was great. The online experience from U-Haul was not. Prepaid online but local dealer still charge me full price. So I basically paid double. Not happy.

These U-Hauls were rented from a Gas station and was not necessarily comfortable for U-Haul rentals. Too many other interruptions while you were trying to finish your business.

Streamline the contracting process. Use eSign and pre-approval so the attendant (taking care of many garage and pump customers) does not have to wait for the slow Uhaul app to load , fill and sign.

The truck I reserved didn't get returned in time but they found one at a nearby location and helped transfer my reservation.

Nothing needs to change for this location. Nice mom and pop feel, easy going, fast service. We were in and out with no reservation in minutes.

Be upfront about the charge on the card….. I was quoted 68 online reservation then charged 90 something out the door to only discover 160$ surcharge on my card to then be told my total is 90 something again and still not have my money refunded.be upfront that you will pay more than what you requested

I was very pleased , and in kind of a hurry to leave and get on the HWY. It was allready full of gas when i arrived ,, took about 5 to l0 min , to Sign contract , and show me the van features / how to operate lights, wipers and normal features . Very satisfied with service and both employees I delt with.

The team at Southside Marathon is amazing.. They are so friendly and caring. Our truck was ready, already warmed up and they made check in and check out very easy. All this while running a had station and car repair shop. They are AMAZING. Highly recommend

Pete’s Marathon is the best of the best!

Pete is a great person, very helpful and knowledgeable. The truck was older and did not run very well. The engine knocked frequently and the check engine light came on during the trip. It got 9.9 mpg, which is to be expected. The ride is also more harsh that previous UHaul truck rentals. None of these issues are on the dealer, they were great to work with.

Petes Southside Marathon is second to none. Pete and the employees are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. For a Service Station, it's very organized and tidy. It's hard to improve the best of the best.

So this is 2nd time picking up on my own, via online service. 1st time I was little intimidated so I went to the location a day prior and lady there, new person, was just awful. She basically made me feel stupid for asking questions, like it's so easy. I came by at 6am next morning and was still little confused but luckily another employee came to work early and helped me. 2nd pick up, the one I am writing review on was smooth, fantastic. Easy. One thing tho, I got a very old truck, beat up,just old tired truck. I wish those were given after newer ones were given out, I do events decor and pulling into fancy conference centers with an old neat up vehicle just doesn't right by me. I mean who would know what I am using it for right? But. Never trucks should be given before old ones. Thank you.

On October 12th, I made the mistake of booking on the wrong date. When I arrived, my truck was not available. I asked one of the associates if he could check other locations? He said “you can call and see!” I asked if he would give me the numbers? He said he did not know them and dismissed me by playing with his cell phone. His partner “Keegan,” immediately started checking different locations and found a place locally, that I could rent my truck. Keegan went above and beyond to help me out. I was very grateful for his assistance, because I had to move within 2 days. His partner not only, didn’t try to help, but he was rude! I wish I had gotten his name, because the company needs to be aware of how he treats customers. I would recommend interacting with Keegan at the Hickory Road South Bend location! He is the best!!

Three times customer service representative gave me misinformation. When I dropped off truck new representative had attitude and I only was trying to get explanation of charges. I would not recommend this location to anyone because of misinformation on charges and poor customer service.

Truck drives like shit. Needed front end work and trans was slipping badly. Very hard to drive truck. Wouldn't recommend. I drove box truck for work never drove one this bad.

Formerly a terrific rental location. Rented twice prior with no issue. This time, whoa, nelly! The attendant didn’t enter the correct drop off location despite me telling her twice where it was when she said she couldn’t find my reservation (yet she knew what I reserved and the dates of my reservation?). The kid hooking up my trailer did it incorrectly and I had to return to get it fixed. But the best part of all is there’s a guy living in a large U-Haul truck in the main lot—apparently he’s the ex of the station attendant’s daughter, a mechanic said. Talk about tacky. Looks like a junkie and there he was, in a U-Haul housing unit smoking his reefer and staring at me as I’m awaiting my trailer getting hooked up. Seriously—drive by and see for yourself! Likely I won’t be using this location again. Really disappointing.
