We booked the 10' truck and the guy brought around the 20ft. We told him we did not need that size but the smallest he had was the 15ft which he gave to us at the contract price of the 10ft. Then there were NO moving blankets available so he could not fill that request. He told us that the amount of gas did not matter when we returned the vehicle; just make sure that it had some gas. Then when we dropped off the vehicle -we were told it had to be FULL. Upon reading the email contract information and the printed paperwork - they say different things regarding gas, but we ultimately left and filled up with gas tank and then returned in. Lack of clarity caused confusion and frustration!

Charles BThe guy who helped me was very kind, but I was just starting out, apart from them, that office opens at 9:30 in the morning, a time when one should already be finishing moving and apart from that, the guy told me and I realized that I had half a tank of gas. But he put in three-quarters of a tank and charged me $45 dollars for 11 gallons, which he doesn't have since I put in 6 gallons and only traveled 85mi. If it consumes 20mi/gl it would be 120mi, and they charged me $45 + for gas, it's an abuse.

Thomas PFirst day with new owner. We’re not prepared to rent and U-Haul should have never allowed rentals until the location was trained. Delayed picked by an hour+. New owner was very friendly and apologetic and worked to get us our rental. Overall experience with U-Haul was very negative.
