KOMAL RI originally reserved a 15 foot truck in West Lafayette and changed our moving date from Saturday 6/7 to Sunday 6/8 since the West Lafayette facility didn't have a 15 foot truck available. Once reserved, I got a few messages that I needed to either switch my requested size or pick-up locating. I chose the later since I had arranged for a crew to assist. Once at the new facility several miles from the location we were moving from, the equipment reserved and the online process to leave with the vehicle all seemed to going fine until I started the engine and the engine warning light stayed on. No one was there to assist. So I called the 1-800 number and got passed around until the person on the phone said I needed to call 'roadside assistance." I challenged that saying I was still on the lot and had not left the premises. She eventually told me that I would have to start all over and go elsewhere to find a truck. I was staring at 15 trucks on their lot. She eventually offered a 26 footer which was way more truck than we needed but I had already arranged for a crew to help load, etc. It was massive and I wasn't prepared to drive such a truck. No effort was made to check other nearby lots for me so this had to do. We had to figure out how to load it so the fragile cargo wouldn't slide around since we had not planned on such a huge truck. Very disappointed but we got the job done and the truck dropped off last night in Indy.

GARDENIA BReservation stated 2days, and I returned the truck exactly 48 hours after I rented and was charged for an extra day, since apparently it was supposed to be back by noon -

JAMES CLoved the store and all the toy trucks they had there. There was a mom and two children there when I arrived taking it all in: precious. Gent that took care of me was friendly, engaging, and informative. The on-line experience was very good. The only thing I would like to see improved is the diagram of the truck I rented. I took a great deal of time ensuring the dimensions of the truck would hold the sectional couch I was moving. What the diagram didn't indicate was the wheel wells on either side of the container that stuck up four and a half inches and stretch for nearly two feet. Also, the gas tank stuck up on the left side. Not know these were there made it impossible to fit the pieces of the couch in the truck as planned.
BRUCE WSo I had to drive it all the way to Lafayette instead of being able to drop it off in Crawfordsville, which was fine, but it was pouring rain. There was a note on the door location was closed. I had to turn it in Mobile take all kinds of pictures in the rain that part was awful but otherwise everything was great.

WILLIAM PMy reservation and pick up involved multiple conversations. The people were always well informed, efficient, friendly, and helpful above and beyond.
DENISE CEmployees were no where to be found days prior to my pick-up, I walked into the store and had to wait 10 minutes until the lady got back from her lunch. Employees have no knowledge of the products they are selling to consumers nor do they have any knowledge of how to operate the U-Haul systems.

KURT KFill up tank so when customer adds gas everyone will know the level it started at full and not play a guessing game! Check lights were on, tires were low.
SPENCER PThe truck has the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) on which has nothing to do with the locate. So Uhaul needs to go pick it up.

MASAKI MWindshield dirty. Cargo area dirty. Check engine light came on 20 mins within picking up. Flashing. Loss of power. Burning through gas. Case made through uhaul. And claimed to resolve situation today. Still no calls or effort made in form of reimbursement as usual with uhaul customer service when issues are present. Never resolved and forgotten about by your company who could care less

RICKY PIt had about a quarter tank of gas on it when I was under the assumption it was going to be left with a full tank one of the lights for the top left passenger side was hanging out and I had no way of informing them that there was damage to the equipment before I took it their app was a little tricky to try to get things figured out cuz I was late which is my own fault but other than that it was all right

RICHELLE PEverything was great, except for the pickup process. The scanning of documents was way too long and glitchy. I had to re submit my pictures a few times and the submission took too long and online operator was not helpful. The online operator dropped our check in process, and I had to restart over, even though it wasn't my fault the website kept lagging and not responding.

HOWARD NTruck was in place and clean. BUT, it did not have 2 items I had requested and still got charged for them. I sent pictures of the empty cargo area. That's a first for me: all times in the past the truck was ready as reserved.
