Nothing customer service was wonderful
MICHAEL HOutstanding Experience with the 26-Foot U-Haul Truck! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently rented a 26-foot U-Haul truck for picking up food for Caring Touch Outreach daily distribution for community members, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience! The truck was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, making it perfect for transporting large pallets of food. It handled surprisingly well on the road, even when fully loaded, and the ramp made loading and unloading much easier. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional staff! From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to explain everything, ensured the truck was in great condition, and made the entire rental process smooth and stress-free. The pick-up and drop-off process was hassle-free, the truck’s fuel efficiency was reasonable for its size. Overall, I highly recommend U-Haul’s 26-foot truck for anyone tackling a big move—and a huge thank you to the amazing staff for making it such a great experience! 🚛💨
DONNA LU-Haul sent me a text moving me from the location I choose to this location. The reservation was for 9 AM, we got there at 10 AM only to find that there was no one there. It was a storage place that was open, but there was no one there. We tried to contact the phone numbers for the place and got answering machines. We called the U-Haul 800 number and got someone that told us that we needed to down load the U-Haul app, log into it and then we could get our truck. I down loaded the app, signed up for it and then logged in. It wouldn't let me get the rental. We called back and got told that because we were late for our reservation that they would rest the time of the reservation and then we could start the rental. We got to starting the rental which asked me to give you information that I had already given you when I made the reservation, and we waited in 90 degree heat on a black top parking lot in North Carolina for someone to verify the data. Then they aske for me to retake the pictures of my drivers license, and retake my selfie. More waiting and I was asked to retake my selfie again this time not from below my face (it wasn't). So I took it again and was asked again to take it from a higher angle and with my eyes more open. So I did. I would like to take this moment to say I am a fat old man and maybe in the Carolina sunshine I am just going to be a little squinty and sweaty. More waiting. Eventually we were given the pass code to open the lock box. Who ever put that key in the box pushed it all the way to the left side of the lock box, so that the key and the U-Haul key chain actually blocked us from opening the box more than 1/3 of the way. So I got my tools from my car and used them on your key chain so that I could get the key out. By this time I wanted to take my sledge hammer to your lockbox but I thought you might think that was uncalled for, so I didn't. Look at me showing restraint. Your App is a piece of shit. It is designed poorly. You already had my ID in your system, all you needed to do was do a direct comparison, you didn't. I spent over an hour there to do the thing you folks said would take five minutes. I paid you $500 dollars to use a truck that I had for 2 days. Have a person there to hand me the keys and say thank you to me, you money grabbing fucktards. The location gets 2 stars, you folks and your app get 0 stars.

Montez MI wish the original location we booked for had the equipment we requested. Being sent to another location several miles away was inconvenient and added to the mileage charge. We booked this equipment weeks in advance, how difficult is it to plan ahead for the requested location to have the equipment?
Tymothy WI made a reservation Thursday evening (4/6) at the UHaul place on Comtech Drive in Pembroke to pick up a 12 foot enclosed trailer be picked up Friday (4/7). I got to the UHaul place on Comtech and nobody was there. I called the phone number but no one answered so I dialed the emergency number. Someone did answer the emergency number and told me that they weren't open today that no one was there. She said to call 1-800-UHAUL. I ended up going to the UHaul place in Pemboke and the lady working there gave me the name and phone number of Joseph, the area manager. Joseph saved the day. He got me what I needed and I really appreciate him.
