Everything was very good. Making the reservation, picking the truck up at the Santee location, very good experience. Star A Auto Body guy was very helpful and efficient. He even cleaned the side windows before I left. Would have given you a Excellent review. But when I went in to the El Cajon u haul location, it is where I made the reservation. I went in the day before my pick up date. Just wanted some info about the whole process. The Hispanic girl was very annoyed and rude. As I asked a question, she quickly cut me off, and said you will get a call before 5pm tonight. I tried to at least know if she knew where I might need to go to get my 26 foot truck. She said you will get a call. Half hour later I called another u haul location. They took the time to look up my reservation number. And told me it will be at the Santee location. They even took the time to make sure I had their address. The girl at El Cajon was more interested in how she was texting on her phone. Very poor customer service.

I was quoted $65 and charged $142. The fuel gauge was the same as it was when I picked up the truck and I only drove 30 miles. I'll never use uhaul again unless you refund me $77. I'm going to leave Google review and a Yelp review. You need to make this right

Uhaul needs to do better on schedule coordination. This location was closed that day but luckily the owner came in and helped me.

3days in a roll I been to uhaul one way and they book someone else under my trip I have a dead line and still not being compensated

This location is mobile check out. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi does not work on the premises. I figured that out almost 45 minutes of trying to get the app to work. Once I realized it may have been the wi fi connection, I had to drive down the street around the corner to receive Wi-Fi to work the mobile app to check out the vehicle. when I finally get the keys, I turn the vehicle on and the tire pressure Sensors was on. I check the tires to find out that one of the tires was almost flat. Not only that, they forgot to put the appliance dolly on the truck. When I called customer service they sent me to the El Cajon location to pick up a dolly when I got to the U-Haul in El Cajon, they told me they did not have any appliance dollies so I did not receive a dolly, but I was charged for it. The whole transaction was stressful. Very disappointing and U-Haul.

Key drop box was inconspicuous, had to leave the truck and return the next day when they opened to drop the key off. Person was unhelpful and seemed confused. Didn't look over the truck, didn't offer a final receipt or say anything. Just took the key from me and that was it. Few days later I have an additional charge on my card from this location. Absolutely horrible rental experience and will not be using Uhaul again.

The check engine light was on when I picked up the truck. Before I was about to return it and was trying to refuel the vehicle, gas began to spill all over the concrete during this process. It was leaking out approximately three feet from the gas cap where the gas spout or hose entered the gas tank. This obviously was very dangerous the smell of gasoline was overwhelming all the way to drop-off location. About one gallon of gas spilled onto concrete during refueling. So even more money wasted after a horrible experience, due to a poorly maintained vehicle and horrendous drop process that never actually completed via the Uhual app. I finally got completely fed up and pissed off at the app that i just called Uhaul costumer services to verify drop off and completion of the truck rental. So no, probably won't be referring anyone to this vendor or Uhaul in general.

I ordered an Appliance dolly online and the location had none and won’t be getting any in the near future. U-haul need to get new equipment in California since way more people are leaving then coming in.
