The truck had a crack in the windshield, the check engine light was on, the 7 blade trailer light connection did not work and the engine started overheating 1/4 of the way through the trip. This was not the location’s fault.

Duane SLook more like a car dealership than a U-Haul rental place. No one was present to accept the U-Haul for return. Had to call number on front door to get instructions of where to park it. I was told it would be taken care of. Few days later I received a friendly reminder that my rental had not been returned. Had to contact 1800 number to get everything cleared up.

MARK MThis individual refused to come out in the rain and check the truck in. I called the 24 hour turn in service and told them the location was not checking the truck in…they told me don’t worry the location will complete the turn in, and I’ll be fine because they can see on the app I initiated the turn in on time. The turn-in business then Proceeded to charge me for an extra day and the truck was turned in on time. I had the truck for less than 24 hours and was charged for 2 days. This location is criminal. I have called customer service and I’m awaiting an area manager to call me back. 517-513-7906

mark mI rented a dozen moving blankets. They did not have any available when I picked up the truck and I was never refunded for it. The attendant also brought out the wrong dolly. It’s seemed they were not familiar with what was on the order. I will not rent from this location again.
Allison WThe lady who was checking out our equipment had apparently never done this before. First, I had an appointment for two months in advance, yet in spite of that, nobody was on-hand to greet me at my appointment time. I had to call a phone number for somebody to be alert enough to show up. Then once the person did show up, it took forever to rent my trailer because she didn't know what she was doing. It caused me to run late for the rest of the day.

Carlos RThe Truck I had reserved was not at the location. The representative looked for a truck in the area and found 1. It it was way out of my way. The rep had a 20’ U-Haul on-site and allowed me to rent it at its price. The rep also allotted me a 20 cents discount per mile since my original reserved rental U-Haul was not available at my time of arrival. The rep at my pickup location was very professional and courteous and was helpful in accommodating my needs in the short time I had to get my stuff moved.
Dwayne BThe location wasn't clean. Part of the reason is due to it being a dirt lot and it just gets muddy when it rains. Besides this there was still dog crap around the location. And the box where I was to return my key after-hours was broken. This led to me having to make another few phone calls to U-Haul in order to solve that problem. But the problem was resolved by being told to put my key in another lock box that was located on the property.

James RThe Uhaul manager was never on time. They didn’t allow anyone in their office so did all registration standing on their front porch. The facility is dirty and very unprofessional! They just handed over the key without any explanation or introduction to vehicle.

Thoai KAs you can see, even the customer survey shows this location as the return location. Staff at this location gladly accepted the return and never indicated it was the wrong location. Charged 198.00 wrong return site fee. Why wouldn't I have drove the additional 3 miles to return to the "correct" site?

PRESTON CIt took 2 long phone calls to uhaul and 3 days to get equipment turned in after dropped off. Do not leave location with out turn in receipt. As of today I still do not have a turn in receipt.

Donna PFirst of all, when we got to our location for pick up, we had to wait almost an hour after pick up time. The truck's power steering and brakes were extremely poor. Had to pry the back door to get it open. We were charged over $200 for this service. We do not recommend to anyone.

ryan bThere was some wear on the hitching mechanism that caused it to loosen repeatedly during the 2200 mile commute bot other than that the trailer performed well. It had new tires and some cosmetic damage but overall was well maintained. Both individuals that helped me at the pick up location were very friendly and accomodating. Id recommend this location.
